@Mor Isil Wëindal sorry, we should combine legendary singers as you mentioned with new voices as Ermonella Jaho or Lise Davidsen, both great in recent Trittico in Barcelona, is better to have the best of old and current opera´s world !

Gran cantante, es de admirar q a pesar q no es un prodigio de voz...ha logrado trabajarlo bien. Canta papeles adecuados para su voz(ópera) y con buen gusto y conocimiento sobre la técnica....y muy consciente de su límites y posibilidades.
All very thrilling, although Piotr Beczala is vocally pushed to his limits for volume. Sondra Radvanovsky is tremendous, and sings magnificently within her considerable powers.
He should not be singing this. Granted. The voice is gorgeous and amazing. But so was Villazon's. 😥
I agree that Piotr Beczala is overparted here. He's not really a spinto tenor.

How to kill in immense brutality the most beautiful duet in opera☝🏻☝🏻☝🏻 (hard to watch for those of you who know how opera should sound)
I am intrigued by opera and studying it on CZcams but this rendition is just too screechy on both parts.
It's "screechy" because the recording is actually quite bad. It doesn't capture the full breadth of their voices, especially Sondra's. Much of the undertones are actually lost, which gives the "meatiness" of the voices, and instead overemphasises the overtones.
Corelli & Tebaldi not this pair of singers. Piotr Beczala should not sing this duet and as fsr as Radvanovski is concerned i do not like her voice, it's sharp.
Son dos grandes artistas , sin duda, pero el dueto ha estado deslabazado, sin la energía ni la pasión que exige el fragmento, como si no lo hubieran ensayado. Y con un pianista que en muchos momentos estaba perdido siguiendo a los cantantes, y no al revés. Con todo, ha habido en el dúo algunos momentos de buen estilo. Sigo pensando que Beczala solo es un gran tenor si ataca el repertorio francés . Cantando Chenier, Radames o Manrico no me interesa apenas, no obstante dejar buenos detalles en esos personajes.

What’s with the weird fiddling with the music. He is dreadful in this heavy repertoire (and gets text wrong). And she is starting to sound distinctly older. No passion whatever in this quintessential verismo music.
Horrible! Beczala has no voice for this.

There is no soprano who can equal Lina Bruna Rasa in this duet, this two singers sound too throaty.
