Sea Lion Cave on Oregon Coast

This is a walk around the sea lion cave along the Oregon coast, you take the elevator down. It is $12 per adult. Also they did say the sea lions are in the cave from about November to July. Not so much in the off months. Pretty cool place none the less.

I remember my parents taking me there in the 70s. I remember a wider viewing platform and nothing in between us and the sea lions.

Yea, when there a lot of them in there it’s like visiting a huge feed lot. The scent gets trapped deep up in the sinuses and can sometimes be experienced again an hour later.

This place is really neat, just be prepared for some seriously nasty stink! Definitely go if you are in the area!
