I really like that value proposition at the end of the video, that's how I gauge the value of any figure to pickup. A $35 good figure, or spend an extra $19 and get a great figure. In many cases, if possible, that extra cash is worth it for a character like Goku. Great review as always!

After almost a month waiting, I finally got mine. Anyone who collects DBZ SHFiguarts, must have this Goku. It's mind blowing how good it is. Video doesn't do it justice, to be honest. My only complain is the base, which has some flaking off the paint. The figure is flawless though. Paint, detail, molding. I also recommend Golden Storm (SS3 Goku). Got myself that one, just for the faceplates, which are a cheap, easy way to fix your SHFiguarts SS3 Goku's awful faces. They are the exact same mold, so they click right in place. Plus, you get a free golden aura. Haven't seen many talking about it. It would be nice seeing a video.

The stand is a clone of a stand Bandai released as part of an event exclusive 3-pack along woth the symbol from Goku's Whis training uniform and the 1-7 star Dragon Balls. The stand arm is a direct clone of bandai's newer version ofthe Act 4 Humanoid stand.
I feel like he is too buff, the figuarts version captures is size better in my opinion. "Beast dieties" Goku Kaioken is this this figure, but with Kaioken coloring. Goku is usually "buff" when pushing himself with Kaioken. Hoping it looks good with the 24,000 power level vegeta as a Saiyan saga stand in.
The reason he is more buff I because it’s supposed to capture the Z version of Goku, since the Goku from Super is more slim, I think its genius since it captures the two different art styles, one is made by Toriyama, and the other is made by Toyotaru.

That’s a good question. They make a lot of stuff so I feel like that probably exists. Plus there are people like Dstar01 (channel) that offer new neck pegs to connect to different heads
@@NostalgiaUnboxed I can confirm that the Black Hole UI and shf ssg goku don’t fit because the neck on this fig is thick and wide. Even tried Feng studio and no luck. If you notice they upgraded what shf failed to do. The shoulder piece, the muscular thickness of his arms he looks buff. I really like this one as my base goku form.
Could've sworn you covered Demoniacal Fit before. If not, the reason the quality is so similar is because *allegedly, DF are the actual manufacturers of the figuarts. They run through Tamashii Nations before finalizing the licensed figures. Anything leftover they're allowed to do what they want and most times they're test runs. Jeice, Ginyu, Vegetto 2.0 were made BEFORE the official releases but, they needed to see if there was a market for it. So DF essentially would put out these, gather feedback, then later you an official release. Their Tein and Yamcha accessory kit later went to make the Cell Saga variants we're getting now. So as long as the name is changed and no official licensing is on the product, they're allowed to whatever with the molds.
I think that theory could definitely be true but it's unlikely, since they don't sell many other things than Dragonball when they could get so much more info in that scenario by selling other anime aswell. Idk though it could still very well be true

DF is just a copy of S.H figuarts. They really don’t bring anything new to the table unlike Kong has. And also, Kong actually releases their products unlike DF 😂😂😂 DF has shown dozens of renders that are years old and they never release them. The heavy SSJ3 hair argument is so dumb. Physics exist, of course it’s going to have issues. Even the sh figuarts version and DF version both have heavy hair and need to be supported by stands.

You'd know if the quality was poppy- not saying they're all top notch quality, but there has to be a reason why some third-party are held in high regard. I have the Infinite Transformations' Emporer of Destruction (I.e. third-party Masterpiece Megatron.) I paid around £100 for it after reading a lot of positives on it and I have to say that I have not been disappointed. YMMV depending on what you buy, but the same can be said for licensed stuff; look at the previous Luffy review - top dollar for a fig that stank up the joint.

Don't call me Nancy, but the faces don't look like Goku... looks more like Gohan. The body is great and would be perfect for an Ultimate Gohan.
90% is the 3.0 Gohan, only with a couple differences being the head, boots and shirt molding over the chest.
