I recently found out i was 47% nigerian from Imo/Anambra states. Im african american this is very exciting. My dna search says i am both igbo and yoruba from the looks of it they are very close in relation.
The East then was never Enugu and Anambra. East Central State was carved out of the then Eastern region and later in 1975 East Central State was divided into Anambra and Imo States with Enugu as the capital of Anambra while Owerri became the capital of Imo. Anambra was later further divided into current Anambra and Enugu States.

Just shops and businesses on every available spaces. I’m Not impressed. Narrow and dirty roads with open gutters. No attention to environmental beautification or creation of green spaces. The chaotic strung electrical lines are just an eyesore. The city is big and has great potential. A wealthy and business minded city such as Onitsha should be looking at least the likes of Port Harcourt.
