6:54 hey Brandon, chickens love to perch! It’s their fav way to sleep and after seeing their enclosure this is probably the closest they can get to perching. Maybe try adding some poles or wood slats to a corner of the stall for them to perch on!

Seeing him chase the chickens reminds me of how when my niece was around the same age she followed a mama chicken and her babies around,she almost was able to pet one of the babies but then the mama pecked and my niece just looked offended that the mama would do that😂

Just a tip for helping, water your grass early in the morning and in the evening when less sun is on it. If you water it in the mid day you are kind of just cooking the grass.
Chickens like to perch/roost. They'll jump up and do so if you give them a place to do it. Some enrichment toys wouldn't hurt, either, but that's up to you. They may or may not use. Could toss in some ping pong balls, hang up a toy xylophone, etc.
My 4 yr old wakes up and insists on going outside to terrorize the chickens lol (Jameson is being so much sweeter, he just wants to love on them and it's so sweet). Kiddo prefers to chase them with sticks and scare them, so we might not get eggs from this group 😅 he may have them too stressed lol.
