Report on Speaker Among's wealth for President Museveni

- The Inspectorate of Government says they are planning to deliver a report to President Museveni on the Speaker of Parliament Anita Among's declaration of wealth, including alleged possession of houses in the United Kingdom. Governance experts indicate that Among could find herself in a complicated situation, including risking her parliamentary seat if it turns out that she owns the houses but they were not included in her declaration. Human rights lawyer Nicholas Opiyo is optimistic that information confided to President Museveni by the British High Commissioner to Uganda is close to the truth.
