The @OzTrailsNWA are rad! I think everyone knows that by know. However, there aren't a ton of spots that are just nasty technical. Well, Zone 4 is just that and, in addition, it lasts well over a mile so it's a test of your technical ability AND your cardio. I've been venturing out there lately on my @aribikes Signal Peak to start collecting data for an attempt to get through it clean. I feel like I'm getting close...at least I think I am.
This spot is part of the Hand Cut Hollow system. You can find it on Trail Forks and it's an easy pedal or drive from down town @VisitBentonville.

That trail is a beast! Was bummed to see the logs gone last time but Gary said they should be back eventually!
haha, you would love those damn logs!! That was the hardest part for me by far. I'm down to get my "Trials" learn on and go for it!
Give the camera person props! Zone 4 isn't easy to hike, much less doing it while holding a camera. My buddy and I "rode" it back in September (2023) and I am sure we walked more than we rode. Looking forward to doing better next time.

Or a cookie 😉. The entrance to this Zone is right after you cross over the gravel road. There’s multiple ways to get in there though. HandCut is my favorite spot right now!
X2 on not missing those "trial" logs...zone 4 is no joke, not for the faint of heart.
I've heard they're making a comeback unfortunately.

Hey Rich, I missed your Ride Series in Georgetown, TX. I had just got back from Spring Break in Switzerland and Austria. I got Type B influenza and was sick. I'll keep an eye out for when you come back here so I can try and become a better rider.
Always dig a nice techy climb vid. That looks like a really fun challenge. I’d be gassed and dab but wanting to try and try again. Unfortunately I’m on the wrong coast

Start slow, keep your eyes up, you’ll get there. Once you get 3 or 4 runs on it, you’ll get more comfortable with all the “tough” spots and where they’re located. Also gets more fun the more you do it 😉
I exited at the first bailout. Getting covered in - and consequently removing- a million of those little black thistle things while getting video of everyone on the wood feature didn't help. 😆#notafan
Hello Rich. Bo here. My buddies and I were just there last moth and met you in the middle of the road. 🤣We really had a great time out there. So many trails. definitely coming back. Hope to make it to one of your classes. Couldn't make the Austin one.

I will be in Bentonville for the first time in My 2024 and plan to give this trail a try. Not sure how it will go though!

It's 1.17 miles total
@@richdrewtherideseries must be even more challenging than it looks if you were that gassed out without even starting zone 4 itself. We will be back there the week of August 16th I'm hoping I can do a full pull

Yup, doesn’t make a whole lot of sense 🤦🏻♂️. What I dig about it is that you end at Interplanet Janet, which is the best flow trail we have in my opinion.

I wonder if that trail is going to claim more victims than the skinnies on All American do? For a climb trail there's some high consequence features there
I bet it will! Couple of really wet spots, those are tricky.
