    I love this model. I've built 2 already and put lighting in them. But one big problem I have is that the promenade deck under the main deck isn't colored brown like the bow, main deck, and stern. But it's a fun model to put together. And the deck housing mid ship isn't white like it should be so you'll have to paint that.

      I’ve also built two of these, one with no painting at all and another that I painted almost entirely. I have a third unassembled at the moment that I want to take my time with and do as nicely as I can, but still using just what’s in the box, plus paints. Trying to get my skills back after many years out of modeling.

    I bought this from the Titanic museum in Southampton on Wednesday. Couldn't decide between this and a slightly larger one which lights uo, but price was a factor as well.

    Very nice review! Disclaimer: This is not advertising and I have no affiliation at all. Just did a quick research and spotted a very comprehensive set of photo etched parts for this kit. Of course it needs an experienced modeler to apply the pieces. The company is named Rainbow Models and it goes for USD 40.

    I just built this one - very pleased overall with the kit design. Just a couple little parts here and there needed some very minor shaving to fit right; but the assembly was pretty straightforward and actually quite enjoyable.

    those portholes look comically large, think ill go for the revell kit instead, which sadly doesnt have the riveting details this have, but much more in scale portholes.

    Is this a glue or snap model?

    Sadly this model tips over when I put it in water but it does float

    • @MDScaleModels

      May need a fair amount of ballast at the bottom to make it not tip over.

      @@WindowsXP781 Yes. Add some lead fishing sinkers to the bottom evenly until you get it where you want. It might not float properly at all though...

    hi, does it already have glue?

    • @MDScaleModels
      @MDScaleModels  Před 4 měsíci

      No. Also no paint if you want to paint the details. You’ll have to get that separately

  • @ricemmanuelledimaapi5980

    what glue should i use ?

    Do you need paint for the model

    • @MDScaleModels
      @MDScaleModels  Před 2 lety +1

      Ideally yes but the plastic has different colors so you could do it without paint.

      @@Quartzplays309 It would definitely need something in the bottom if you were going to make it float. Too top heavy.
