Planting trees is always an excellent idea! And the birds will be thrilled for new potential "homes."
Here in Texas we lost almost all our citrus orchards because of falling temperatures worldwide. We shall replant in honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's Plantinum Jubilee!!! The TreeBilee !!!
The Queen has planted a forest , god bless them. This is monarchy at its finest. Forest and trees are the home and shelter for creatures, a living community.

Getting for the Queen to step down. It's just too sad I'm sure without her husband Prince Philip. Getting Prince Charles ready to steady the course and reduce the numbers. Edward, Anne and Sophie Edwards wife will make up part of the RF I'm sure.

Fabulous idea! I will plant two, one for the Queen and one for Prince Philip. I will also rename my garden composter of Manky Muck with a plaque depicting the letters "MM" in honour of her majesty and those who have cared for her since the death of her beloved husband.

Even before my birth probably within 1961-64, H. Majesties The Queen Elizabeth II, planted some Trees in both parts of the then Pakistan and still some of those planted trees are alive and carrying Her Majesties Signature Touch on Them, which is now Bangladesh. And I viewed That very event, in recent past in CZcams, and amazed to see Her carrying the Practice still, throughout Her Reign. It proves that She had very early Thoughts for Nature and Environment and also of Climatic Disaster, so She engaged Herself for preserving The Mother Nature, in Her Own Way, at Her Best.

She looks like she's had plenty of experience!

Yes, trees are so important. I am partial to the trees, and woods, that are all along the east coast states, in the US. They are so beautiful, the trees that their leaves change color, and fall, and the evergreen trees too!

i remember in 1972/73 outside my work in elliotst planting a tree .funny i had a son on the queens jubaliee. 1977 he received a coin from farlrys baby food and a silver cup ftom hsamuals jewllers in glasgow .he was to receive a christening robe .but never received one lol

I think the Queen is always classy ☺️, but Charles still makes me sick. How many times has the Queen put her feelings, wants, or needs aside to keep her oath to serve the Crown for her whole LIFE !!! Why, it’s good to see Charles outside doing work, trees and the environment are two of his pet projects. He’s also supporting his mother, contrary to a lot of tabloid gossip Charles and the Queen do have a close relationship. William has other projects to keep him busy, they all have to pull their weight in different areas.
