- Clark gets angry at Jonathan for fighting on the field. Jonathan is angry because his girlfriend sold enhancing drugs to his arch nemesis on the field, leading to his increase in strength. This drug could be linked to how the bank robber got his super human strength to fight superman. That might be the trigger for Jonathan to get his own power to stand up for himself. Lois, her dad, and even Natalie, realize this is a Family Situation that Clark is losing control of himself and his feelings are linked to Doomsday's pain. So there are links everywhere in this story as it builds up. This series is only getting better and may actually last for quite awhile! Enjoy!

I'm just saying...Clark seemed pretty stunned when that punch landed, almost messing up his "I'm a human" act. Also, Jonathan swung full-force, hitting the Man of Steel's jaw and yet his hand is unharmed? Something tells me that X-K is only speeding up what's already in motion. 😁 Ladies and gentlemen, we're getting Superboy.

@@AurianWarriorOfDarkness fair point. What my angle is is that Clark forgot to react. He forgot to drop as soon as he was hit. He was stunned even for a moment, so while it was a strong enough punch to be felt...it wasn't enough to hurt. He felt it that's what surprised him. Yes jonathan is human here but that's my point. Jump back to Jon reaching out to stop Jordan from punching another kid. He broke his arm from the impact. Yes it was different but think about it this way. If you punched a brick wall, full force, right now, you would break your hand. So if he swung and hit SUPERMAN right in the jaw, why didn't his hand break? Why was he not showing any kind of pain? This show is all about misdirection so it makes you wonder why Jon is on the XK to get powers? Could it be a smokescreen for his already latent abilities? Just a fun theory of mine...
That moment when he heatvision his hands and screming... Damn that was good!
I love the subtle powers that superman shows us- slamming shows into a fucking fridge until they stick, talking in a way that makes the room shake. My favorite is when the couple is about to meet STEEL and he takes the van to a fucking desert in a second.
In that episode where he yelled at Jordan was kinda scary, I'm also surprised Jonathan took getting yelled at by Clark.

Jonathan should end his relationships with his girlfriend instead, because the latter betrayed the trust she had with Jonathan. And then he and family should investigate this dark and nebulous affair in order to renew the ties that have been violated by this betrayal. Candide Pergande isn't a neat girl and far from being honest with others, the latter hides things which is related to the trafficking of illegal drugs.
Love that it's a Bizzaro plot, but still think it would have been a nice Smallville callback if this was all because of Red Kryptonite. I honestly wanna see how the kids react to that
