- Officials say videos released Monday show a group of demonstrators bringing projectiles and preparing to confront police during a protest at the statue of Christopher Columbus in downtown Chicago which turned violent Friday night.
Imagine waking up in the morning and going to work to deal with this insanity.
I wouldn't if they would go on strike and not work just like the protesters then things would change.
We should be so thankful there are many good people in this country who go to work and deal with this insanity, so we don't have to when we are driving to work.

We need congress, and the senate, and politicians to help, to deescalate, to ensure fair law for everyone, to ensure fair wage, and most of all, federal level solutions to the issues we face, coronavirus, the mass evictions of the poor during this, the fact no one has food or money or health care in a pandemic.

Do we really expect them to accept a life that is not fair? a wage that is not fair? with no chance of education or moving forward or getting out ? especially during a pandemic where we have NO HELP and NO RESPONSE federally?

Yes, defunding the police is a mistake. If anything, more funding is needed to create better and more extensive training. They need a basic course in psychology, and a pay raise to be dealing with an unruly and disrespectful public. (Ask any public school teacher what our youth is like today in a classroom.) But the media doesn’t report all the thousands of police encounters daily that go well and respectfully on both sides. No matter the racial identity of either party. Or how many people were likely saved by their intervention in a day across the country. Or how there are some black people who are fearful around cops, then get nervous and act suspicious, even if they haven’t done a thing. Because they have been taught from a young age to be afraid and on guard. And this nervousness can be picked up on as hiding something. Which alters the police response. Which then reinforces what has been taught about profiling.
I don’t deny there are bad cops or corruption. But you find that in every profession, because a certain percentage of people are, well, bad seeds, essentially. Yet, will you see the media explore that fact? No. The few can taint the image of the whole, especially when that is what is honed in on by reporters. They feast on the salacious and exploit it for viewership. Because things going right isn’t as interesting to the general public on a full time basis. It doesn’t catch the attention. Not to mention, the average attention span is quite short.
What these kids suffer from is beyond mere ignorance. Ignorance, as you know, means lack of knowledge. Which makes your statement only part true, as they lack FULL, TRUTHFUL knowledge. They are given some knowledge, a twisted and false worldview, (which becomes their fuel) from the time they are young. Indoctrinated. Schools, tv shows, music, all reinforce a socialist worldview. And because young people lack experience and still harbor hope for what they have been taught can be positive change, they are “useful, *educated* idiots.” They have no idea they are merely pawns. Just as the other “side” has no idea they are equally opposition pawns.
This two-party system is being used to manipulate and control us ALL. This government has not been by and for the people for a VERY long time. And part of me wonders if it ever really was, or was just an experimental new ruse being taken out for a spin. And this comes from someone who has a relative who signed the Declaration of Independence and feels a kinship in the ideals set forth at the inception of our country. I’m more conservative than liberal, with libertarian leanings for freedom and personal choice, so long as it doesn’t interfere with the basic rights of others for life, liberty and property protection. (Not these convoluted, so-called “rights” spouted off by Marxists throwing childish tantrums.) But I do NOT buy into this left/right paradigm they try to stick us into as either/or. I have a soft spot for those who struggle, but enough years has taught me that there are too many people and organizations out there who take advantage of the good hearts of others. So I am EXTREMELY skeptical to pleas for help. Which creates turmoil within. And animosity and frustration that I can’t know who to trust or who to aid, if and when I can.
We’ve been trained not to tread too far off the set path. To see any alternative as a conspiracy. And that “conspiracy theory” automatically means mad hatter territory. This is intentionally discredited in the media and popular culture and mixed in with the false theories to deter us from discovering how deep the corruption and control really goes. It also confuses the small portion of people who plow through anyway in an attempt to understand the truth. Causing us to not be sure what to believe and what to dismiss. And it obviously works like a charm. As the plan for an orchestrated order by first breaking down the system through chaos and destruction is very apparent today. And using tragedies to scare us into compliance. We are too distracted by topics and the latest news to notice the source.
The latest and most effective thus far is the Covid scare. I don’t deny the reality of this virus or the danger it is to certain vulnerable individuals. (My 17 year old daughter and I are in that category, as Type 1 -AutoImmune- Diabetics.) I have seen the places where they intentionally have exaggerated the impact. And do not properly address the fact that many more people could die from an economic depression, (more people today have been brainwashed and demoralized, so it would not be pretty if we delve into a depression; it would likely be much worse, with a social breakdown/collapse as well) than from this virus. Also, that fear and stress weakens the immune system. And all this fear-mongering makes people more vulnerable to complications and delayed healing. If the flu viruses were new and reported on the same level, it could very possibly have a higher transmission and death rate. But whether the origins of covid were sinister or not, this is at the very least being used to roll out the latter stages of the big picture agenda.
The average human desires to live in peace. Those who don’t, have always made it hell for the rest. And use us for war and expansion of wealth/power. This holds true in every great civilization of the past. We humans follow patterns. And we have predictable behavior, which once known by those psychopathic, narcissistic types, is used against us. Like a magician who uses the defaults in our brains’ processing to pass wondrous illusions in front of our eyes. When a person lacks empathy AND has higher intelligence AND uses that to gain (or is born into) great wealth, it is a combination that is easily able to pull the wool over our eyes. Wolves in sheep’s clothing. And sometimes the obvious and biggest lies are the easiest to pass off as fact. Oddly enough.

There are many studies and books written to illustrate these ideas. One relevant experiment is the Stanford Prison one done in 1971 by Philip Zimbardo with volunteer college students. Even without detailed instruction, it shows how regular people can be drawn into social roles. And even become beasts, given the right circumstances and psychological fertile ground. And this fact of human nature is exploited by those at the top. Rather than used to understand, teach and help inspire improvement, rather than force it down our throats from authoritative positions who supposedly know better than we do.
Sorry to go on and on. My main point is that we must try not to see these people as completely complicit, (though that doesn’t mean they are not ALWAYS responsible for their choices and behavior, and therefore, not immune to the natural consequences) but more like manipulated goons. Weak and trusting in their sources. They have been trained to shut off their innate critical thinking skills. Yet, they are completely unaware that they make decisions purely from emotional reactions to the false narrative being pushed on them.
And though the other side is not as nonsensical, they themselves are not immune to a different form of manipulation and the appeal to emotion from another angle. Which makes their own critical thinking skills impaired as well, just perhaps to a lesser degree. How can I say so? Because they, too, aren’t seeing through this charade. And seeing how we are ALL fodder in this quest for ultimate control by the elites. No matter our affiliation, beliefs or opposite differences of opinion on various subjects. (And these subjects are clearly successful in stoking this division and likelihood of folks from one side dehumanizing those with opposite beliefs and perspectives.)
Variety in life is a GOOD thing. I saw a video of colorized pictures at the turn of the last century of immigrants at Ellis Island, stating their country of origin. The beautiful garb was fascinating to see. And how distinct they were from each other. To each be appreciated and admired. (I was envious of the unconscious display of those ties to their heritage. And saddened to think after living here for a time, that they may have put those away or altered them to fit in.) But today, most people from various countries all dress the same. Modern westernization, I guess. Culture stripped, or at the least, not apparent. Homogenization. And it is a shame.
When I was a teenager, race issues existed, but not like they do today. I see people who before, (all “races”) didn’t constantly think about race. To now, not being able to avoid it. There is a discomfort that did not manifest then as it is now. And it isn’t change through positive encounters or education on the travesties that DO need addressing. It is through fear and intimidation. Indoctrination. Not by strong, fair leadership and healthy examples. But by cowards masquerading as brave in large numbers. Yes, in person in groups, but also through social media. All you need is a camera to have a large backing. So it emboldens people to be confrontational and to see fault where there may be none. Or at least, none intentional, as is purported.
Those SJW’s are oblivious to the fact that race relations have become WORSE through activation, not better. (Which I believe is the point.) And this all stems back to their education from the time they were born. The messages overtly and seductively drilled into their minds. Not knowing they were shaped and molded, and not as unique and autonomous as they are tricked into believing they are.
One former SJW (who still considers herself liberal with social issues) was interviewed in a CZcams video by another former SJW. And she stated that facts did not change her mind. They will not convert anyone. I might add that neither will disparaging. She then goes on to say that watching a video of a series of different conservatives getting assaulted by these radical, violent SJW types was what woke her up. That it took emotion to shift her blind support, as the appeal to emotion is what is used to recruit and rally support. Fight fire with fire, appropriately, not out of anger or retaliation. But smartly. So you don’t get burned in the process, but actually meet them in their path and eliminate access to their fuel.
If this isn’t done successfully, there will be some type of civil war. Instead of diffusing the situation and finding common ground to grow from. Because at a fundamental level, we humans are more alike than different. The basics. It is all the nuanced and stark details that cause the variety. Which is actual the spice of life! The way to discover meaning, and experience joy! To inspire us not to be stagnate, but to evolve and improve! Challenges are a necessary part of life to refine us. But the scales are tipped in the wrong direction and unbalanced right now. Which is why things are falling into chaos.
I hope you and others can keep your wits about you, and try not to dehumanize others as this intensifies. (I know it isn’t intentional. It is a natural reaction to the absurd and surreal.) It is easy to do in such times. But that is precisely what will keep us at odds and widen the divide. The healing begins from an attempt to understand and see another perspective. I feel you have a good heart. And I wish you well on this journey, and the strength to keep from being used and to keep positive in these dark times. Collective positive energy and attitudes are more powerful than we are led to believe. And if we allow ourselves to get sucked into the despair of what seems futile at times, (especially as we wake up to the full reality against us) than we are not effective counters to bring back a proper balance. I didn’t mean any of this with an ill will, and I hope that has come across. I just wish everyone could see that we are being led to align with a side and fight each other, when our biggest threat is not each other, but one in common that is much more concentrated and inaccessible.

Military Vet here. A .50 cal fixed on a Humvee will disperse any crowd very quickly. There are times that violence needs met with violence because that is all they understand.

Being a minority here in India, we,the people from North East India often faced a lot of discrimination and racism from the mainland Indians. But not all of them are racist. In fact many of them are our friends. But what i don't understand is that many black people accused white people of being racist. but sometimes it was some of the blacks who were racist. Many of the white people were afraid to even speaks to black people due to fear of offending them and being acused of racist because of how they talk or speaking a word they didn't know that was offensive to black people. I think both the black and white people of america needs to close the boundaries between them. Many music videos of black artists shows racism because some of it depicts hatred toward whte people and still they accsed white people as being racist.

Well the police superintendent said they did have Gear but some of the guys didn’t put it on because he thinks they just didn’t imagine anything like that happening. So they did have the gear but it’s still inexcusable. They’re pulling the same techniques as Hong Kong, only difference is Hong Kong is literally fighting for the right to say autonomous and not be subject to the tyrannical rule of China. I’d say the stakes are a little higher if you’re in Hong Kong. This crap in Chicago is just pointless.
