I found crackhouse crane myself, but you showed a more consistent way to getting there so thanks for that.
Sometimes when I use some rat spots, I come across players that I hear run up, stop, and then wait, almost like they know I'm there. Cheaters are still an issue even when you're ratting.

Vaulting is magic! I knew about that crane near crackhouse, and with enough strength you can jump it. I never had enough though and spent sooo long just trying to jump it. Same with the concrete rings near the end, as before without good strength it was a death pit.
Dude...That door spot in gas is hilarious! I have tried a few hiding behind it, but never knew you could get on top.
Also that tree spot outside of fortress is pretty clever especially after they blocked most trees.
Exactly! Before the wipe, you needed like 60 strength to get up there. Now, just a vault and a tricky jump will do.
@@Ratomic_Tarkov Well those are damn good spots lol I've seen all the videos and ran around that map looking for all the spots I could think of and you surprised me a few times here
@@Ratomic_Tarkov you can vault a second time by looking in the same direction as the jump, makes it much more consistent
You used to be able to jump up from the crane operator cabin with 0 strength, but it's a lot trickier after inertia. Vaulting is 20x easier

Based on my experience, "crouching mid-air" doesn't really make your character crouched in the air, alter your jump trajectory, etc.
But allows you to crouch as soon as you land.
The bin next to skeleton around the side of the shipping containers really good spot I’ve never died there and I get some good kills

That hiding in plain sight in fortress is always so "disgusting", i had a sniper spot like that on shoreline, but since the changes that spot is now gone :(

Also i have NEVER seen anyone hide on the barrels in that tree, although i have a similar spot on interchange.
Please do each map. I saw someone get ontop of the building whete the gas pumps are at old gas as well. Dokt know how to get up there though

Possible issue is: maybe you're jumping to the side, not front+side?
In my experience, when I jumped to the side I bounced back and broke my legs.
Any advices for that spot (7:11)? I can't do it with 44 strenght. Sounds like hit of top of the door, and instantly fall down, sometimes hit roof.
Yeah, I experienced those as well when I was working on it.
Since I don't know how you tried, I can only assume:
1. Don't sprint&jump. Walk&jump.
2. Maybe my guess on strength limit(40) was wrong. In the video, I made it with 48. So maybe the strength needed to make it is between 44 and 48?

With the addition of vaulting, I have disliked jumping on release so much. What did you end up doing for your vault?/jump? If you powered through it and ended up being able to still do those jumps even with the change then Ill keep practicing. Also, this is an easy series of videos you could do for every map.
I rebinded the vault with ctrl+space, continuous, and changed the jump key to press.
I wish there was more appropriate key-mapping, but this game has a LOT of interactions you can do and we're almost out of keys lol.

Personally I Love vault being hold space while I’m running.
Climb requires stopping run & mere walking while hold space. Easy.
It’s the jump that gotta go somewhere I can easy tap while using* all my usual move keys. Ain’t figured it yet.

the crack house one for me soo buggy to do it just knocks me off when vaulting.
You may knocked off if you jump immediately after the vaulting/not letting go of WASD after you start vaulting.
My trick was: vault, let go of WASD key, jump front+side towards crane boom as soon as you are falling down. You might need to anticipate the timing of falling down.
If you're experiencing the same issue, please let me know. Also, there were some comments that you can just vault twice, but I didn't confirmed it yet.

Really nice spots. I tried to valt on the crane but always jump backwards after valting
Maybe try:
1. Jump front+side(towards crane), not just side.
2. When starting the vaulting animation, let go of WASD. After vaulting animation, jump as soon as you start to fall.

You can just vault vault the crane. Go offline and practice it's quite easy and way less noisy than jumping around

During the recording, I didn't use any in-game PostFX. However, I did enhanced gamma in the editting.
I'd suggest raising gamma in your monitor settings to your liking is the closest thing you could do to make your visual settings similar to this video.

I could hit the crane jump pre inertia solo it took me 5 hours to hit the first time in offline i have clips
My friends and I also knew about the jump with vaulting too all we have been doing this wipe

I can’t get on the crane to save my life
I know that this spot is tricky and unintuitional.
I don't know what exactly is the problem you are facing, but here's some tips I can give:
1. I think the character should vault at a specific angle.
2. You should let go of WASD key after vaulting, and jump as soon as you are falling.
3. Record your practices so you can replay your successful jump as many as you want. It will help you memorizing the timing/visual cues.
4. I think this is not kind of spot where we can make it every single try. So try it during night raids where visual range is shorter than day ones. Also expect and accept that you may die when you're going up to the spot. But don't worry; your gears will almost certainly return by insurance.
