  • Friedrich Nietzsche's famous expression "There are no facts, only interpretations" is one of the most cited and alluded to in the history of recent philosophy. In fact, it was expressed by Nietzsche in much more than a single line, both at various points in his work and in the passages that we will analyze here.
We will see how it goes, with him, from a classic question of the history of philosophy, such as that of "Knowledge" and "Truth" -with capital letters, we could say-, as it happened with the philosophers of the tradition, of ancient to modern, to the much more modest interpretive activity of each vital subject, unique and unrepeatable, but which has in common with all organic entities its attempt to cling to life and expand its potential within it.
