The most UNDERRATED Hike in Maine ⛰️🥾

In late July, the weather finally broke in Maine and we had a decent morning without humidity. We decided to drive about an hour to a mountain that I have wanted to hike for years now. It was the boys first time going over three miles and doing rock scrambles. The hike is PERFECT for kids - the views are excellent the entire way, there is wildlife, the top is open and safe, the rock scrambles are fun, and there is a swimming hole near the trailhead as a reward. We were the only people on the mountain until the end. It was a big moment for me to watch the boys do so well, and I love the feeling of isolation in nature. The bang for your buck with the views is unmatched. Truly the most underrated hike in Maine considering how close it is to most of the population here.
