Build a Aquarium Filter At Home - DIY Aquarium Filter Today I'm gonna show you Build a Aquarium Filter At Home - DIY Aquarium Filter! Hope you enjoy it. Thanks for watching!!
I think tha tank is overstocked and you probably should have put the pipes higher at the last chamber so that at least half of the lava rocks are submerged.
It's a beautiful design but you should have added an emergency overflow outlet with a pipe dropping back into the aquarium.. In the rare event that your system clogs (which may not be that easy if you are constantly cleaning it) then the water will flood and pour outside of the aquarium. You could add an outflow somewhere high on the sponge box so that if the water is flowing, it doesn't get to that level but incase it doesn't all flow into the bio box, it will rise to the emergency outflow and pour back into the aquarium. Better the dirty water pours back where it came from that have the aquarium run dry because water is being pumped out and floods onto the table or floor. Again, it might be a rare occurrence but better have a backup plan as you never know when you may be away for a few days and that's when mostly things go wrong. Most aquarium owners will tell you it cracked or broke at night or when they had travelled. This isht never happens where you are there to stop it when it starts. you may also need to get a piece of glass or perplex and place it below the filter system. one that is slightly wider than the aquarium so it sits nicely around the rim and provides the filter with a flat stable support to sit on. I am a year late so, you may have already implemented my suggestion but this is for someone watching this particular video.
Really? The pothos plant just grew up in just 1 day? Amazing !

What type of silicon did you use?
Looks similar to Kingbond A900 Silicone, but they sell something called "Aquarium Silicone" in stores, made for aquarium use.
Water is then also cloudy
