Off-airfield landings can be unsettling. These landing sites, which can be anywhere from a mountaintop to an #offshore #helipad, expose #pilots and passengers to additional risks. During the Jan. 21 HAI@Work webinar, panelists Kodey Bogart, CEO of KB Solutions, LLC.; Gerald Kosbab, president of AeroDirections, LLC; and Jorge Sanchez Hidalgo, director of operations for AeroDirections Latin America, discussed the Bowtie Method, a risk management tool that’s especially helpful in identifying and mitigating the risk involved in using off-airfield sites.
