I have been meticulously researching off-road expedition vehicles for years now and I can finally say that UNICAT is second to none. Was considering an Earthroamer XV-HD before, but the 6x6 MAN platform is truly the way to go. The only con is that MAN replacement parts are hard to come by in the U.S. but the way this is built I doubt a big amount of maintenance will be necessary.
A perfect example of design, engineering and function. Simply the most beautifully designed RV that I have seen. Everything fits beautifully together and and a tremendous amount of thought has gone into creating an integrated concept. I am a software engineer and when I confronted with such engineering expertise, I am overjoyed and enthralled. Best wishes for the future.

You have done a very nice job with the modification of the interior.
The only thing I don't like is that big chunky boxy thing on the dashboard. You could have replaced it with a nice touchscreen that could show the same information.

Suggested Modification: Drivers cab steps are too low for lots of rough terrain. You could make lower two steps retract when door closes. Big improvement there if you look at it.
the owner of this vehicle is very large, and the last two steps are connected with rubber, so that they can move. Anyway, very good idea
what a blessed truck, the project was very beautiful, very beautiful, motohome ... I am from Brazil, I like to see several motorhome ... and watching so much ended up falling in this video !! Congratulations on the project !!
These are not for low budgeted trip, this is self sustaining rig and can go to the remotest area as long as the truck can fit in and can drive to, it’ll just go and go.. just to mention a lot of germans are capable enough to spend such amount for this truck without getting broke and by filling up fuel and expenses wouldn’t be a challenge. It’s just a beauty and reliability at its finest!!

Very impressive truck! I have been following Unicat for the better part of 15 years. You have really nailed everything. The only thing I would be worried about would be those front steps into the cab. Could a fold up be used there?

What a beautiful rig.
Nice and neat lay out/set up for both driver and passenger cabins, wondering there is small section/spot for radio operation (like amateur radio) accomodating the HF & VHF radio unit & computer set up neatly as well.

You have to realize that if a person is planning to purchase Such a vehicle they will likely traveling long term and most likely would sell their home.
$600,000 is actually way lower than I imagined. It's not that hard to find overland RVs that go well over a million dollars, and this is the most impressive one I've seen.

I love expedition rv's, but I can't help but comment that the cooler in the cab might better be situated on the opposite side so as to aid the driver to reach back for something, say a sandwich or a cold drink, instead of just behind themselves where it would be extremely difficult.

Great setup. Allthough some quality problems: above the handbrake the screw twisted the leather which is a bummer and second that with moving the sattelite disc it bumped into the fan shields and black marks are allready visible on the disc. That wont last very long....
Yes, you're right, the problem has already been solved for the satellite disc. We also noticed this during the filming of the video. For the handbrake skin, the dashboard has been replaced with a new one entirely in polished carbon fiber.

i have seen a unicat i think built in 2004 here in the USA on n International 7400 6x6... was the truck added here in the USA or do you have access to International Harvester 7400's in Germany

We build a second of the customer's requests, almost no one asks for Volvo and Scania.

The last two steps that give you access to the drivers cab seem very low if you were to take the truck up or down some very steep terrain! Has it ever been a problem the access steps grounding out?
The owner has mobility problems, so he preferred a low step

abc, that's what some of their customers do. They sell the house and put everything into storage. They buy the motorhome and spend 2-3 years traveling the entire world. I guess some work for websites as emergency income. I live in Texas and saw one of these monsters in a Target parking lot with Swiss license plates! I don't know how much they spent having it ferried across the Atlantic but I know it wasn't cheap!

Fahrzeugbaus nicht mit der audiovisuellen Qualität eures Promovideos zusammen. Spart nicht an der falschen Stelle. Ansonsten bin ich überwältigt von dem Truck. Absolut gigantisch in Ausbauqualität, Design und Praktibilität.

no, our vehicles are homologated as motorhome (M1), so the rules of the cars are valid.
Those bursts of noise are so annoying it was hard to pay attention, kills my hearing. And by the way, I did want to inquire about this product but not on your website. Nothing useful there. I like this rig with some added items. Why gas generator instead of diesel? Are you using inverter technology yet? With everything going digital, generator sets and alternators are sooo obsolete, noisey, and inefficient. If I were to come to Germany to pickup one of these units to my spec, how many miles do I have to put on one before shipping it to USA. Will USA allow this unit into the country?

What is the purpose of the TI Camera?
I would say it's for night driving to avoid hitting people and animals on county roads. Aux lights don't really allow you to see that well and you can't use them if there's any other cars around
