    Brilliant flight and very well flown. Since my last message to you i have since aquired a few electric planes which i love flying. My favourites are the multiplex twinstar and the hobbyking b-17 flying fortress.

    Good flight! Make your flaps operational and you can really reduce your landing speed and ground roll.

    hi there, im thinking of buying the avistar. would u recommend this plane? is it a good stable flyer and is it strongly built? regards aidan mcatamney

      Hi friend....yes....it is a glow trainer. If you are into nitro or gas or any type of non-electric rc planes,well this should be your first bird. Very strong,affordable, reliable, and user friendly with very sturdy structure and and easy to find spare parts. But if you like hassle free flying without the complications of mixing fuels and/or setting carb needles or glow plugs and cleaner aircrafts and ,weeeellll,you should be thinking more about electrics,wich by the way, maybe you"ll find they are a little bit more expensive, but at the same time,are a lot more dependable and faster. Trust me. I have 9 electric airplanes and 5 big size helis and rc boats and cars and while i'm flying, racing or in the water, my friends at the runway, racetrack or pond are fueling,adjusting ,calibrating or wasting their time trying to start their engines...you decide...

      Edwin Cordero hi there and many thanks for your reply. it was certainly very helpful in helping me decide whether or not to buy the avistar elite. I am definitely going to buy it as I like a strong well built plane. I have been flying nitro planes since 1986 and I much prefer them to electrics. simply because I love the sound of an engine and I love to see a smoke trail. about 15 years ago I did buy my first and only electric plane a multiplex easystar and twinstar which I still have but hardly ever fly. the club I belong to has 40 members and myself along with just a tiny few others are the only ones who still fly nitro planes. call me old fashioned but I just love engine planes still. I have a great planes escapade 61 and its well built so I will take your advice and go ahead and buy the avistar. im hoping to put a set of floats on it for flying at the local lake. all the best and many thanks. regards aidan mcatamney

    It is a glow (nitro motor). If using gas motor i think it will be over powered.

      Hi Edwin, how is the balance between full tank and empty tank ? The tank is really foward and I'm scare about balance modification during the flight ... How you manage that ? Great video thank you

      Edwin Cordero awesome all I fly now are foamies the sport cub with asx3 and 51 inch wing span, the corsair safe, the apprentice s and the archer plus my collective pitch helicopters my t-rex 500 and 300 cfx. I also have a phantom and some smaller sport quads

    • @edwincordero8
      @edwincordero8 Před 9 lety

      Cory Reeves To tell you the truth, that avistar belongs to guy flying it in the vid. I also have a few foamies ( Cessna Corvalis, Flyzone Calypso Glider, Eflite Apprentice w/o SAFE, Flyzone Piper Super Cub and Parkzone F4U Corsair;plus Great Planes Super Chipmunk , GP Cirrus SR22 T and Top Flite Cessna 182 Skylane). I also have Trex800e pro dfc and many other helis. I was only recording a vid for my friend. Personally, i don't like glow or gas aircrafts. I fly the easy way, everything electric...lol! Don't like complicated needles to adjust or messy settings. Just program, connect battery and fly. But i've seen him fly his avistar and is very nitro begginer friendly.
