Exuberant Emmy: Ex-Preemie Beats Guillain-Barre Syndrome with Therapies & Dance to Give Back

"She's been a fighter since the beginning." Emmy, a former twin preemie, was suddenly diagnosed with Guillain-Barre syndrome, a rare auto immune disorder, that left her nearly paralyzed. Determination and Blythedale Children's Hospital's interdisciplinary team helped her recover, relearn activities of daily life and return home.
