Biggest problem with this game is that it doesn’t have Wario because Brent can’t scream WARRIOOO every time he beats a level

Biggest (actual) problem and so far only problem with this game i've seen are the bosses, or rather, the lack thereof.
It's pretty much just Bowser Jr. And that's it. And the bowser treadmill machine thing wich dies in 10 seconds.
It's pretty underwhelming. Easy as hell too, but that's standard for mario games.
Oh believe me, if a new Wario Platformer ever got released... you'd know what I do...

This game is an absolute joy from start to finish. There’s always something new and fresh to see in EVERY LEVEL, and it never really feels like the game gets dull.

I think that Mario games have us used to the fact that for each world there is a boss, that now in Wonder there are worlds without them, I don't know if I should take it as a good thing or a bad thing, but hey, that doesn't take away from the fact this is a great game ❤
I feel like the game doesn’t necessarily need bosses; the levels are usually the most fun part.
That said, the boss fights the game does have are pretty lackluster. Though I did enjoy the Bowser Jr fight with the water.
I feel like bosses were definitely the most underwhelming part but f the game since they were just bower jr or that stupid mecha bowser for airships that lasts like 15 seconds or no boss at all. Final boss was cool and still an amazing game

Apparently they were given a lot of time, no deadlines, and Miyamoto had minimal control. He's listed in the credits as a Supervisor, not producer or director.
Creative freedom, no pressure, and an actual graphics budget?
The last time a 2D Mario platformer was this fun/exciting for me was the original New Super Mario Bros.

I had been playing this a ton since it came out and just completed it 100% today. I like the art style and hope they continue with it, and the jump badges are all related to some prior Mario game, like the crouch jump from SMB2 or the triple jump from SM64. I recommend checking out the Online part too, you don't have to do anything different, and no one can affect your game, but it's interesting to see others playing the same level - plus if you die near another player you become a ghost that can be revived, which is pretty cool when you see others helping each other like that. Do it afterwards, but check out the Yoshis too.

So I can say for sure after experiencing all of it: Special World has hands.
If you ever do a 100% playthrough, the game tells you which levels you haven't fully completed by not having a checkmark on them.
Spoilers ahead...
If you go back in to some of the levels where you get Royal Seeds, you will unlock Special World levels.
Best 2d mario game. Playing it is a Def a morale boost!

No exaggeration, Mario Wonder is the best 2D platformer I've ever played and the most fun I've had with a Mario game since Odyssey. I'm so glad Mario and pals finally have a proper spiritual successor to the classic games from the NES and SNES.

It is still fucking amazing. But you also did miss one more secret in World 1. I did some research, and if you go to the singing prihana plants level, you can jump on the floating platform, which is where they stop singing and get the last wonder seed
I suggest he talks to master poplin again, he might have other trials
There r a ton of secrets, there is even one in the second level in World 1
Be sure to go back to Master Poplin's house to unlock World 3's Special World Warp (imo World 3's special level is kinda hard)

Following World War I, large numbers of discharged veterans who served in the war were given land by the Australian government to take up farming within Western Australia, often in agriculturally marginal areas. With the onset of the Great Depression in 1929, these farmers were encouraged to increase their wheat crops, with the government promising-and failing to deliver-assistance in the form of subsidies. In spite of the recommendations and the promised subsidies, wheat prices continued to fall, and by October 1932 matters were becoming intense, with the farmers preparing to harvest the season's crop while simultaneously threatening to refuse to deliver the wheat.
The difficulties facing farmers were increased by the arrival of as many as 20,000 emus. Emus regularly migrate after their breeding season, heading to the coast from the inland regions. With the cleared land and additional water supplies being made available for livestock by the Western Australian farmers, the emus found that the cultivated lands were good habitat, and they began to foray into farm territory-in particular the marginal farming land around Chandler and Walgoolan. The emus consumed and spoiled the crops and left large gaps in fences where rabbits could enter and cause further problems.
Farmers relayed their concerns about the birds ravaging their crops, and a deputation of ex-soldiers were sent to meet with the Minister of Defence, Sir George Pearce. Having served in World War I, the soldier-settlers were well aware of the effectiveness of machine guns, and they requested their deployment. The minister readily agreed, although with conditions attached: the guns were to be used by military personnel, troop transport was to be financed by the Western Australian government, and the farmers would provide food, accommodation, and payment for the ammunition. Pearce also supported the deployment on the grounds that the birds would make good target practice, while it has also been argued that some in the government may have viewed the operation as a way of being seen to be helping the Western Australian farmers, to stave off the secession movement that was brewing. Towards that end, a cinematographer from Fox Movietone was enlisted.
Military involvement was due to begin in October 1932. The "war" was conducted under the command of Major Gwynydd Purves Wynne-Aubrey Meredith of the Royal Australian Artillery's 7th Heavy Artillery, with Meredith commanding soldiers Sergeant S. McMurray and Gunner J. O'Halloran, armed with two Lewis guns and 10,000 rounds of ammunition. The operation was delayed, however, by a period of rainfall that caused the emus to scatter over a wider area. The rain ceased by 2 November 1932, whereupon the troops were deployed with orders to assist the farmers and, according to a newspaper account, to collect 100 emu skins so that their feathers could be used to make hats for light horsemen.
