250k kms is nothing. My Na FG xr6 went 14.94 with 420k kms admitedly I do have the ZF.

The BTR auto sucks too, the BF from 06/06 build date has the strong rods and with the ZF 6 speed is a much better car
Stock rods and box are good for around 300kw.

I brought a Ford falcon ba xr6, over the 5 years I brought all new parts. Couldn’t be more happier to own one. Unfortunately I’ve taken it off the road and keeping it in storage for years to come

Paint could use a wash and polish but I like the color! Could be biased though, I own 2 yellow cars...
YESSSSS this is exciting.... love it. Buy a nugget old mcm style
3.5" exhaust, standard turbo rear housing-- weld a wastegate to it for better boost control or just go flapper mod for more boost,... bigger injectors,.... atomic valve springs... and atomic oil pump gears if you wanna drifties and rpm bounce a bit.. hardlines.. an then get it retuned.. easy 250rwkw.. the 4 speeds are known to break loose after 250rwkw tho so have to consider that.. T56/TR6060~ mantic/CI twin plate clutch, for 3-400rwkw upwards with above engine mods
depending on tune. 250-300rwkw is the roof though unless you have a really good tuner as everything else from Engine back need attention when your reaching those figures an want aggressive power delivery
Try using Flashlube injection cleaner. I swear by this stuff for my Bf falcon. Runs great after a few tanks with Flashlube.

Just bought a bf turbo as a present to myself for getting off my p's. Had a na model earlier on and I must say it is a little underwhelming. Not as quick as I would have imagined. I do however love the look and love a lot of things about it. Now starting to do some performance mods hoping to make it more exciting to drive
I just bought one too as a project car and they're slugs in stock form but a down pipe plus mid muffler delete, intake, valve springs upgrade, fuel pump and injectors you should get over 300kw after a tune. I'm aiming for 350kw for now and then later I want over 500kw

10s for 500 bucks, 8s for 2k 👌mint haha
anything above 14.3s for a stock one, the vehicle has problems. Owned half a dozen of these and worked on hundreds of them, Never seen times that bad unless they're broken.
Its not "broken" just slow. why? well find out soon enough
@@MotiveVideo broken was probably the wrong word, worn would have been better. Either or something is failing to do its job right. Tyres is pretty evident to start with. Wouldn't be surprised if the rear housing is cracked near the waste gate too at those kms.

Can you do a video of putting a Barra into a import particularly a Skyline or a 180 SX.
Id say there's some sort of issue with it. These cars usually run a mid to low 14 stock. Id say its got a boost leak or a lazy wastegate actuator and you're not getting the massive 6psi of factory boost haha

If you car leaks enough oil it's just getting a constant rolling oil change
Try owning a TD42 Nissan Patrol. Mine gets a complete rolling oil change every month.....these things seem to leak from every imaginable orifice!

In April of 2020, I brought my first ba xr6t, gearbox lost reverse paid 3k for it, over all great car, in July of 2020, I brought my second xr6t, 05 bf mk2 zf 6 speed car, bad hail damge stat ride off, paid $1200 both cars came out of canberra act, the bf turned into a parts car, an the ba is my project car, both with around 270,000ks loved the both of them bf is no more,
But im still kicking myself at the fact I paid $4200 for 2 xr6 turbos in the middle of covid an what not

I'm hoping to see this car come out with bigger brakes, coilover suspension, different wheels and stickier tires, exhaust/intake/more boost/remap, oh and fix the seat. This is one of my favorite cars made down unda.
