What sickens me is Myrtle Beach will charge someone for assault with a water sprinkler but allowed Mica to be absolutely abused by JP for years. I usually side with LE but not in this case. The people still attending that church are just as guilty for the abuse Mica endured.

I don't classify spraying someone with a hose as assault. If that's the case I assaulted my kids last week when we played in the water on a hot day. People need to relax. It's just water from a hose. Good lord.

A psychiatrist in N.E. Ohio was raided by the feds, and went to prison! She was giving patients whatever psych drugs that the MOTHER OF THE PATIENT said to prescribe!!! The young patient was on sooo many psych drugs! Practically every one that is available! The mother destroyed the patient's body, and life! The psychiatrist was the mother's FRIEND and did whatever the mother wanted! SICK PEOPLE!

I think the officer’s responsibility at that point is to diffuse the situation and keep the peace. If the guy refused to stop or didn’t comply, I am sure he would have been arrested.

No difference to me if water sprayed or hot sauce sprayed. It’s assault. And yeah, I know of an instance where somebody in a balcony had a bottle of hot sauce and on purpose, hidden by the dark theater, sprinkled those below. It’s assault no matter what is used.

The warrant should embarrass Solid Rock, (stop calling it a church) but if JP's inappropriate behavior doesn't cause them embarrassment then this won't either.

If that church goer that sprayed people happened to get someone's phone wet, that can get expensive & it could result in a destruction of property charge, which depending how much the phone is worth, could change things from a misdemeanor to a felony.

3rd degree assault is a misdemeanor in South Carolina and means he could be fined UP TO 500 dollars and sentenced to 30 days in jail. Imo, he won't get either because he's a JP follower.

Wearers of hearing aids wouldn’t appreciate it either. They aren’t 100% waterproof. I imagine rain that isn’t heavy they can be okay till you seek shelter. A direct in the face splashes of water might have a better chance of getting into any openings. No matter, it’s assault.

Why are they protesting? Because the pastor is consistently abusing his power and the degrading actions towards his wife that led to her death needs accountability. He stole from his church, stalked and threatened his wife, and possibly groomed her as he was youth pastor. They are not protesting the church itself. They are protesting the pastor and his enablers.
