U did a good job I honestly thought this was very nice of you to do this challenge. crayola is mostly our budget when we start drawing.i use their pencils with my prismacolors on most of my art

Helena Rosegold yep! It’s less about the quality of the supplies, and more about the skill level of the artist. I just thought it was kinda funny because Crayola is kind of known for being used for kids and everything, so I wouldn’t usually expect a professional artist to use them professionally.

Helena Rosegold no not really, rae just reviews alot of crayola supplies. Overall she uses prismacolor, copics and the expensive side of art supplies.
@plop yes she USED to use them! She used to use them as the first base because if she uses the prismacolor, the drawing will turn out messy, and the nib of the prismacolor pencils are VERY soft! I don't know if she still use them! 🙂

I always used these art supplies in my art and I love using them .Crayola products rock I have made great art work from using them. Some people don't like using this product and stay it's a cheap art product and won't use it or talk badly about it.. I will always buy and use them, because they are cheap and they are great product from people who can't afford high end right now. 🎨 I really liked at the end of the drawing

This honestly looks pretty good. I think using something like a Pentel waterbrush to blend the marker ink would have helped a lot. Since Crayola markers are washable, a waterbrush should use just enough water to blend the ink and make it smoother and also helps blend colors together

When I first started drawing I only used crayola. I had a fifty pack of colored pencils. Another 64 pack of colored pencils. And a 16 pack of erasable colored pencils. They never worked out for me and my art always turned out extremely blotchy and uneven. So I decided to switch to fine point supplies. I can’t really buy the amazing stuff cuz I’m broke but these are actually pretty good pencils. Maybe you can make a video like this one but with fine point supplies. (Btw there isn’t a huge variety of skin tone options but I’m sure u can make it work) ♥️
Btw I’m not ACTUALLY broke. I just prioritize what I want to buy and stuff so yea sorry for saying that.

I have always avoided streaks by putting a color pencil base and marker on top. Maybe try that 💁

I think that the drawing is nice...not terrible at all. I saw Natatlia's nail colour. In the first drawing her nails were dark red, in the second drawing they are petal rose(pink). 😂😂😂❤❤💙💚💛💜💓💕💖💗💘💝💞💟

you can get a decent range of skin tones with crayola pencils but I think where you were trying to layer over the marker it was just not working. If you try this challenge again, leave out the marker and go in with pencil. go back to the basic basics of mixing shades of blues/greens/reds/yellows/pinks/etc to get the skin tone and build up and you can actually make those pencils work. the fact that they're not super pigmented is an advantage when learning how to color with pencil properly.

my birthday is coming up in 3 days and i hope u reply as soon. what outliner did u use to outline the sketch number 2. i noticed it wasnt like other outliners and looked more like a thin very thin pen.
