I preferred my carrot cooked and at dinner) You can never go wrong with crackers. (Regular or whole wheat or goldfish) Pizza lunchables, I loved those as a kid.

I always make these cute lunches with my sister because we love doing it together rather than our parents do it. My friends always want to sit by me to see the animal picks or designed sandwiches and stuff. All of my friends request ideas. I do the ideas from my friends and they always try to challenge me with hard themed lunches and are always so excited to see if I could make a good hard themed lunch everyday. This has became an everyday game and my friends think it is so funny how I make my cute funny lunches in the ideas they request.

I feel like some of these are like barely meals (I think that's mostly like a cultural difference in what my home country sees as a meal and what theirs does) but as someone with severe sensory issues I totally understand the struggle of not being able to eat certain foods. Cause let's be real kids being "picky" is rarely a flavour thing, the problem often a texture or presentation that the individual child does not like (I'd know cause I would literally rather throw up in my mouth than eat a boiled egg and that's not cause I think it tastes bad I just think the texture is horrible) I don't have kids but I do have "picky" siblings and like some of these showed sometimes it's just a matter of changing the presentation (like putting fun food picks in their veggies) and that changes their opinion on the food completely. Also kind of unrelated the fact that kids in schools aren't guaranteed a proper healthy lunch is really bizarre to me cause where I'm from all people in school are legally entitled to a meal a day, it is funded by taxes and schools and teacher wages are still funded well.
I never packed a lunch able for my kids unless they were going on a field trip. They got real cheese and real meat. It's much cheaper and healthier to make your own lunch able if that's what you choose to feed them.
You're referring to a human less than 1/3 of your size. It won't be her only meal that day. For one meal, protein isn't necessary. Just calories. Haven't you ever started the day with cereal or oatmeal??!!

They are allowed no sugar, no chips or sweets of any sort or fizzy drinks. It's a national ban in all schools. They get water, juice and fruit in school and a free hot lunch but they only like 2 things on the 5 day menu.

Third, you don’t know the size of these kids, how much time they have to eat lunch, or what their preferences are! Their parents are doing their best to make sure that their kids are at least getting nutritious foods into their bodies which isn’t always easy! On top of that, I’m not sure how it is for the rest of the world, I’ll admit, but food is so expensive here, a lot of the time you just have to work with what you have! I know you said no hate, but what you said was really condescending, even if you didn’t mean it that way. At least these kids get a nice, full lunch full of foods that are both nutritious and that they enjoy, and I feel like, that’s what matters most. I apologize if I come off as cold, I just felt this was important to say, even though you didn’t mean any harm.
