I swear these music producers out here putting everything on the line. I could tell so much time and effort when into producing this song. Even if it's not your favorite red velvet song you have to applaud them for taking a risk.

@@steph3255 Thank u I've actually been thinking about this a lot recently. People like to shit on sm for being the most one dimensional of the big 3 but if you look at yg and jyp they don't take many risks. Yg and jyp have a signature sound and vibe throughout all their artists even if the concepts change. SM groups tend to change their sound and vibe with each concept trying something fresh and different but also very musically interesting. Look at f(x), nct, suju and tell me that there songs aren't completely unique and complex with every comeback. Not to say yg and jyp are bad but they are very particular whereas sm has much more variety.

@@Lyf4rMusic Very true with a Red Velvet comeback you never know what you are gonna get until the teasers or sometimes the actually MV comes out and thats both exciting and worrisome but im in that small minority group within the fandom who as enjoyed each RV comeback like rookie and bad boy (with occasional dumb dumb interference) fight for my number 1 spot, and those are two completely different songs.

Glad you like the whistle notes! I appreciate it and I recognize how hard it is to achieve that kind of sound. However, my preference is not it and I hope you learn to understand that not everyone can enjoy whistle notes especially when it’s repetitive. It doesn’t mean we don’t have a good “musical ear” or don’t understand music. Wish you all the best on your music studies.

i have mixed feelings. Bad Boy was such a great song and the fact they played off that title - even using the same font - i thought this didn't live up to my expectation. don't mind the howlywood halloween thing so much, Red Velvet have done the humor-horror thing outside of the halloween holiday before (Peek-a-boo Nov 2017, Russian Roulette Sep 2016) and i think the biggest downfall was lyrically ...BUT you have to admit that vocally, this is a powerhouse track. Red Velvet never fail to deliver strong vocals. And the choreo was pretty slick too. - great reaction.

i've been binge watching every video in the channel and i know that y'all liked the "androgynous" vibe from that A.C.E video so i really recommend MOVE by Taemin. he debuted at a really young age (14y/o) and back in the day people said he looked like a girl and was too feminine so, when he became a solo artist, he was always trying to prove how manly he can be and all that. thankfully, he grew a lot as a person and last year said that with this song he wanted to embrace his androgynous look and break the stereotype of what kpop male artists should do. and, honestly, i think i never saw him so free and sexy.
fun fact: he had to fight with his company's CEO to make this song a title track.

This song was released in honor of Michael Jacksons song Thriller which was released on November 30. Red Velvet are big fans of Michael Jackson, which is why it looked weird that it came out so late when it was Halloween theme. Love your guys reactions keep up the good work

I think the really cool part is that they repeat lyrics but they add a new beat under it or put another melody with it so its never exactly the same thing its merging parts/motifs from the beginning of the song
