I love everything about this video. We see Michael for his truest and happiest self, when the world wasn't cruel to him yet. Magic... escapism... childlike mannerisms... artistic expression... these all helped make him a legend. As adults we forget how important these things are. This video is such a sweet reminder of embracing the child in us.

He was so comfortable. Not shy. Open honest sincere fearless yet so sweet and innocent. The business ruined his young spirit. He held it with fear of what he endured. His kindness was taken for weakness by his weakness....children. This is horrible what this man continued to do inspite of his downfalls. Wth is wrong with people? I believe if we had social media back then things would have turned out so different for the angel. God bless you Michael. God said anyone who harms children will suffer. You cared for them. Facts, like when he defined what magic he basically described his entire career which is still unmatched till this guy.
I don't know why people call him weird, he wasn't a weirdo. He was just different, special and had an understanding of things that not everyone could really comprehend.
Like everybody, he's a human and I think as a person who has achieved such a level of fame it's hard to just be "normal". Just think about it, you need to worry about everything and everyone surrounding you. One day, they love you, next day they hate you or take advantage of you. That would make anyone insecure about themselves. Besides that, he said many times that he never had a time to play or just to grow up like any other child since he was always giving concerts or working on rehearsals and writing songs. Plus, his father was abusive when he was growing up and I don't think he had bad intentions with his sons but he should have found another way to teach them and not just force them through violence. Still and with all that, Michael managed to be a very gentle and kind person who always cared about others.
I think he loved kids cuz they are innocent and pure souls who actually care about WHO YOU ARE, which is different from what you have, how you look, what you do, your skin color or any other superficial stuff. He was truly special and it makes me sad to see the things he went through. I pray to God he's resting in peace in heaven because the world just wasn't good enough for him.

Partly, it was because the 80's got increasingly conservative, so anything out of the ordinary was demonized. People forget, Prince, Madonna, Michael Jackson...they all got treated really wild in the tabloids. The fact that Michael was doing stuff that IS DIFFERENT...I won't say weird, but different...it just made it easy for people to have their imaginations run wild. All the stuff about the Elephant Man's bones, and sleeping in a hyperbaric chamber and stuff...it was the habit of the world back then to kinda fill in what we didn't know about the biggest stars.
This is how a genius looks like. A real genius. It is incredible what humans do to the best ones among them. To kindest ones. To the most gifted ones. People hate people who are same like everybody else. And people destroy people who are unlike the rest of people. Sarcastic, crazy fact about humanity.

The things that we don't really pay much attention triggered happiness in Michaels heart. This is why I love him, music comes to second to me when it comes to Michael. With certain people, you feel comfortable opening up and with others, you seem to be reserved. In Michael's case, you can see that he's different in the interviews, but something never changed during his lifetime. He's always humble, polite, caring and he has that aura of a very honest and good person a lot of people can feel it and myself as well. The look of his eyes says it all.
My Mother is now 94 . Always a great Gospel Singer. She break out singing at times,all day. Thinking of the Goodness of God, and of happiness,and if something troubling in her Spirit, or thinking of someone in need of prayer. She still does that. It really hurts me to watch this kind of interviews before the 90's when he was in his 20's just becoming the greatest. It shows his pure soul, ambitions, genuine thoughts and feelings while he is completely comfortable with himself. He was so respectful, funny and shy and I have never seen him SO HANDSOME like he was in this era, just beautiful as always but that drop of childishness gives him that extra boost to his beautiful aura and the truly angel he is.

He may have asked them to come to his house. He may have wanted his fans to see him just like this, and they just kept recording. They didn’t ask too many questions, they just kinda let him flow.
