What’s more impressive is the fact that he scored those goals knowing the fact that the god forsaken goal horn is going to go off after. That shows more of him as a competitor than any defense ever could.
There's good talent, great talent and otherworldly talent - Bedard is in the 3rd category. I haven't seen such mind-blowing major junior highlights since 2014, back when I was taking in McDavid highlights.
If it's true that some NHL teams (like the Blackhawks) are aiming to tank in 2022/23 so they can increase their chances of getting Bedard in 2023, I don't think I can blame them. He has the potential to join McDavid, Matthews and Makar as one of the most unreal players on the planet.

I get what you’re saying, but go to goal 23, what defensemen or goalie is stopping that shot. I’ve seen the same plays made by McDavid, Crosby, etc. the elite defenders aren’t stopping that; no you’re not going to make all your chances, but that special talent will shine thru lol that’s the greatness in some guys; some shit is just unstoppable

@@Hank-js1wf Connor has been far more impressive than both Connor McDavid and Austin Matthews in his junior career to date. He’s got an all-around game like McDavids and is a significantly better scorer than McDavid too. He’s smaller than both, but his shot right now is just as lethal as Matthews is currently. 50 goals in 39 games seems almost impossible now, but it is true, if anyone can do it, it’s him.

@@Tanmoy49 Bedard hasn’t been better than McDavid so far in juniors and the stats would agree with me. Matthews was playing professionally hockey in a Swiss league before he came to the league which is way harder than playing in the OHL WHL or Qmjhl
