For the start to finish you should draw Dehya! She’s one of my favorites :)
I would recommend buying new Apple pen nibs, which have a metal pen tip. These stay the way they are on rougher screen protectors. Everything else gets chewed through in a matter of weeks or maybe even days.
The Apple pen nibs with the metal tip work as good as the original one and in my opinion provide an even better darwing experience, because the tip is thinner and you can see better where you place your pen tip.
Oooh, for a full process video (which I LOVE those videos btw) it would be interesting to watch another background practice study and maybe the human subject figure and background image could be a scene from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the wild and link?
If not maybe kaeya in a tavern type scene?
But I love the full process videos because it makes me feel less alone during my own long painting projects!

Epic Seven has a lot of great characters.
u should try drawing a honkai character!! most of their designs are pretty complex, but they’re very appeasing to the eye and they’d look great in ur style :) n thank u as always for ur draw with mes! they always help me get started on my own art and watching ur process is super helpful :D

ofc!! i recently got back into honkai and i really love the story, for starters it doesn’t have a self insert so the relationships between other characters are a lot more complex, and some of the scenes are super sad :(( but it makes it rlly good!! def worth a play :)
How long does it usually take for you to finish a piece like this?
This is a suggestion from someone inexpert that doesn't have an iPad nor used one before to paint, so I don't know if you can do this in Procreate. I've seen a lot of your videos and lemme tell you that every time you zoom in the painting it loses quality, like it looks pixelated, I don't know if It's your style but if Procreate lets you change the PPI (Pixel per Inch) of your canvas, try to put it in something like 600 and your artworks will have more quality because you have more pixels in a single inch of the screen (more ppi = more quality basically). In Photoshop you can change the PPI when you create the canvas, so if you want to take the suggestion maybe you can start to look for it when you create a new canvas. Good luck and keep up the good content!
Hello! I appreciate the feedback and the suggestion! BUT all my canvases have 300-350 dpi to prepare it for printing. I understand that when I zoom in that it will look pixelated but it does not affect the overall look of the piece! Either way, if you zoom in you will eventually see the "pixexlatedness" depending on how much you want to work with the details. I believe a lot of programs have dpi rather than ppi, as dpi is more important for actual physical prints. Procreate does do something weird every so often where certain angles will make things look more pixelated but that can be fixed by going over it again at a different angle! I am not too bothered by it because it doesnt affect the overall image. But thank you for the concern! I appreciate it!!
