I wish it was still like this. Now, the Royal Family has had a bunch of rips and tears in recent years, and I don't think it will ever be like this again. It's how all families are meant to be, even the most prestigious.
I Love How Queen Elizabeth II Acts Like Most Children Helping Their Parents 😊
That is her mother
The 1990’s were a great time to be around. Everyone got on.
LOL Let me guess. You weren't alive then, were you?
The best
To bad both the queen can’t be here anymore. Rest In Peace to both the queens ❤️
In the 1990s? That was the decade when the marriages of members of the royal family were breaking up: Anne and Mark Phillips, Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, Charles and Diana; then the Queen and Prince Charles were unpopular because of Diana's death. I don't think the late Queen liked the 1990s much: 1991 was her annus horribilis and Windsor Castle burnt down. Perhaps you were being ironic?
@@MrBulky992 so was the 1980’s for them, it was still a great decade also! I was a preteen upto late teens, My life and millions of others lives didn’t revolve around the royal family 24/7.
Queen Mother was a role model. She carried herself so gracefully till she rested...
Rest In Peace to both the queens ❤
The queen mother was 90?! She graciously walked up the stairs at the entrance with little jumps. What a extraordinary health!
Also, looking back. 3 women being celebrated. Never take equality for granted.
queen was same too. till 94.
There is also a videoclip in youtube where you can even see the Queen Mother DANCING at the same age! The title of this videoclip is "The Eightsome Reel, Ghillies ball at Balmoral." Amazing!
@@rukenruken7526 Yeah that is true. She didn’t slow down till after Phillip passed.
Yeah she ate organic food that's why. Some of us are in our 30s yet struggle to walk 😢!!
Amazing that she was just short of 102 when she passed!
The smiley Queen Mother and respectful Queen Elizabeth to her dearest mum!
Aw I really wish both the queens were still here. Rest in paradise to both the queens ❤
Rest in peace to the queen, queen mum, princess Margaret, and Prince Philip
2:01 the queen left quickly because the mother queen was coming and it was her night. You can see that the queen mother goes ahead
Wish we could have never lost any of them. Loved how HM The Queen looked after her mother. Also loved how she fast she got out the car the door hardly finishes opening and she is out like she is avoiding the taxi fare
Same. I miss both the queens. Rest in paradise to both of them ❤
And told her police officer to get her car out of the way
The unmistakable voice of Richard Baker.
I loved how the queen made herself less important than the queen mum. Respect for her mum.
Rest In heaven to both the queens
The Queen was modest. She made herself less important for other people too, but Diana fanatics dont appreciate the queen unfortunately. They always try to bring her down
@@GodisMyNo1 The daughter/sister was a site in the blue-LOOK-at-me get up. Shame on her.
I like how the queen's mother was expecting the Queen to walk ahead like she does but was noted that since its her night she should be first in line. She was the only person who has taken a step before the queen
Unfortunately trump stepped in front of her too...
Rest In Peace to two great queens ❤

Queen Consort Elizabeth, aka the Queen Mother, was in great form that evening.
A beautiful gesture that HM QE2 allowed her mother to take precedence over her and walk ahead. I have seen her do this on a few occasions like VE Day and other birthday events.
Everyone’s mother is first ☺️.
@@horaciocapanelli-soto4710 indeed

Odd seeing how quickly the queen can move around here. So used to her slow graceful movements now.
She was in very good shape until Phillip passed and then she started to slow down.
@@KingJackson11355 Yeah that was a huge blow to her.
@@user-kt1jf7mk5i Unfortunately yes. Before Phillip passed I always thought the queen would pass her mothers age for sure but after that she just changed.

Her Majesty The Queen busted out of that car giving orders! I continue to find reasons to love The Monarchy. Her Majesty The Queen Mother was such a delightful person and a true treasure to the nation. What a wonderful family.
Yeah I wondered also what the Queen was saying when she did that…
God Blessed, the Family were finally united again... RIP
Princess Margaret's dress stole the show

How the hell she walk like that at such a ripe age? 😭
Private health care, that is how. She never used the NHS, and spent tax payers money on having the best doctors and private care. That is how.

She didn't go to McD's every week~~
And with platform heels!..but she had circulation problems and had to have her feet elevated on a red velvet stool at long banquets..
Her father lived to almost 90 and he died in the 1940s so there were clearly good genes.
Wonder why the queen was so mad. She looked fuming

Queen ERII was not in a good mood when she got out of the car, complained.
Never seen her do that. Must have been something to piss her off like that . She's normally so calm
@Lanie Rodriguez thanks for letting me know.....as I said she's normally so calm....she was always so wonderful to her mother....
@Lanie Rodriguez amazing. Thank you
No she was saying move the car out of the way because the Queen Mother was directly behind… I think she was perturbed that they didn’t get there earlier and The Queen was giving precedence to her mother.
no....the queen not mad, i think her majesty just wondering if the man okay since he out of the car while the car still moving....just take a look at queen expression...she just ask "are u okay" . That was im think..i am right?
Beautiful. HM always deferred to her mother even though QEII was THE Queen.
Rest in paradise to both the queens ❤
Yes, I thought it was sweet that even she was standing turned towards her mother while God Save the Queen played, even though that song is not for a Queen Mother (or Queen Consort).
I wonder what the Queen was saying to the footman that opened her car door. He jumped out while it was still rolling and raced round to open her door.
Looked like she said you alright, and thank you she touches his hand quickly
Great to see Margaret too.
Rest In Peace to all three
She looked amazing, like a true Princess
George V was the father in law of the Queen mother. George V’s queen was queen Mary.
The Queen Mother (a stupid title in my opinion) was a strange woman. On the outside, she looked like your kind old granny. Inside, she was cold as ice. A manipulator. A cold hearted woman. She said she was not as nice as people thought. An iron fist in a velvet glove. She considered herself always to be queen, even with her daughter as the actual queen.
It must have been great living with her....that's how you know all the facts about her, right? Smh!
@@KM-mv3qr Accounts come from former staff who worked for her at Clarence House, and from details provided by Diana, Princess of Wales who spoke to her friends about her, including Andrew Morton who published the infamous 1992 book and Rosa Monckton, Princess Diana's close friend. I never write things like this unless I have read sources for them.
Did no one notice the Queen checking on one of her drivers when she got out of the car at the start - the person jumped out too early/quickly and she was concerned 🥰
She was obviously mad.
I would like to know what she said to him.
Exactly. Idiots here are completely misconstruing it. Perhaps they don't get British body language!?

If we watch the end, Princess Margaret is so accustom to being behind the Queen and the duke, she even goes to sit at the back and Prince Philip said no sit at the front.. she was like yeah I dnt mind..
Princess Margaret was out to impress and upstage the rest and that she certainly did.
She looked spectacular in that blue dress
I don’t think she was purposefully trying outshine her mother (maybe her sister lol j/k 😂). But after the Queen Mother she was best dressed no doubt. As the queen got older she really came into her own with her now famous style
@@timbredan3476 Margaret loved to be belle of the ball. She definitely outshined her mother and sister here with that outfit.

Look at 5:46 and on, the way Queen mother looks over to Queen Elizabeth, who looked pissed off at her. Getting out of the car she asked if the fellow was ok. She was mad about something else.
The Queen wasn't mad that is just how she was then, quite stern looking. She changed in her old age and became more the sweet old lady we remember.
@@seansmith445 It seemed she was a bit upset with her mother (Queen Mother), just the way they looked at each other, at 5:46. I admire though how the Queen Elizabeth II, kept things together. I adored Queen Mother too. I had collected postal stamps for years and was confused who was who at the time. Just recently been watching videos on them & reading up on history. I felt a deep sadness when Queen Elizabeth II passed away, even though I live in the USA.
@@joannecowie3586 The Queen always looked like that - especially during the national anthem. Look at almost any video of the Queen's face during God Save the Queen, and you'll see the same expression. She has to present herself a certain way in that moment. Oppositely, the Queen Mother stood there smiling as if the song was about her (it wasn't). The Queen would never do that, even though the song is actually for her, because she's a monarch. She's supposed to avoid displays of emotion, and she did that very well.

What does the queen say to the man who opens the door
This must have been early-August 1990, if she turned 90. As late as at age 101 ½, just six weeks before her death, she attended a funeral.
I really wanted the queen to pass her mothers age but I guess it wasn’t meant to be. Rest In heaven to both queens ❤
The funeral was that of her daughter, Margaret
So nostalgic. I remember them all well being in my fifties. So sad that it has all gone to pot now. I blame the media for alot of it. Always harrasing the royal family wanting stories.
What happened as the queen got out of the car? She seemed to ever so slightly hit the doorman?
I wonder if she reprimanded him for opening the car door and getting out before the car stopped
she said “close the door right away” coz the queen mother is in the next car.
@@moly1026 I’ve watched it a hundred times and I still can’t read that she’s saying that - although that would make sense.

I agree! The way she put on airs is what fascinates me about her. Her exaggerated waves; the way she was constantly smiling for the crowds. It doesn't seem to come naturally (and probably didn't; she wasn't royal); it's just what she decided looks grand and royal 😆
