- In January 2013, Lewis Marnell passed away from complications with diabetes. It's been five years since Lewis left us. Today, we remember, honor and celebrate the life of the Australian legend.
Lewis' commemorative SB Dunk Mid Pro, in a colorway he made his own, is now available in SNKRS and at select skate shops.

Lewis Marnell, Ben Pappas, and Shane Cross. Three legends from the land down under. Rest in peace to these three Aussie icons.
I remember this little kid called Louie up at flat grounds (across from Flinders St. station where FED square is now) in Melbourne in around 1995. He was usually just chillin with other skaters and would get up and rip a few kickflips from time to time. I swear one time I saw him put up a tag with a marker. Was it "TICK"? I am thinking this is him. I never even knew he went on to be bigtime until now. Such a spin out and blast from the past! I am 36 now and he was about my age then. RIP mate glad to see you lived it up!
Lewis Marnell touched a lot of lives in his short time here on Earth, it's people like him that are remembered, not for what a great skateboarder he obviously was , sickest hardflips btw too, but for what a genuine nice human being he was, you can tell there wasn't a mean bone in his body, and that he loved his friends and family, let this be a lesson, don't wait to live your life, and always tell the people close to you that you love them, tomorrow isn't promised for any of us, skate on my friend
My favorite skate short ever. RIP Lewis ❤
That smile in the end when he landed the tre flip shows the passion he had for skateboard.
The good die young, but the great live on forever. Rest in peace, Lewis!
I have an autographed pair of Nike SBs that he gave me back in the day RIP
Still unforgettable
Today 10 years later we still missing you legend
SMILES FOR MILES!
He was so good for the longest I didn't know which stance he was. RIP to a true legend
I remember this little kid coming to Norrköping, Sweden and doing the most insane hardflips in a quarterpipe. I had no idea back then who he was and that was going to become one of the greatest skateboarder of all time. R.I.P Lewis, you always had a smile on your face, massive respect
RIP Lewis
R.I.P
Remember the first time I saw him in the Volcom vid with fellow Aussie DD killing it. Best frontside flip next to The Boss. Always with a smile and mad steez. You won't be forgotten. Respect
Still enjoying his positive energy ❤️
Can you imagine Lewis was your son, dad, brother and you have this video as a memory. Beatifull
I want the shoes not for Nike but for memory of a truly inspiring human being
He is an inspiration for sure. The best style
I had no idea. He was still killing it in 2010 when I got out of it. RIP
