1. First, this AFCON is the most successful AFCON I can remember given the odds. Equatorial Guinea have done immensely well. Emotions boiled over, hopes were raised and dashed, things got overboard...EXTREMELY WAY OVERBOARD. But let's not let this turn us into the HATERS OF OURSELVES in order to please the so-called international community (which most often means the West) who don't give a damn about Africa except for their gain.
2. These tournament has way too many heroes (the organizers, the volunteers, the police, etc) that are yet to be properly celebrated for doing the best they can given the situation. Also big ups to the Media Team for the best tournament CZcams coverage I have ever seen - even better than the just concluded AFC in my opinion.I am still Proudly African and with good reasons to boot!

Equatorial Guinea didn't even deserve a chance against ghana. Tunisia should've went through, but Equatorial Guinea obviously bought the referee resulting in millions of fouls for Tunisia and barely any from the home country...

Great game by Ghana. Kwesi Appiah improved Ghana's attacking play a lot. He is fast and makes right decisions when to pass the ball or to shoot.

E.Guinea goalie always comes out his post. Ghana have fast strikers and E.Guinea plays a high-up offside trap so he knew there will be a lot passes over his defense for Ghana strikers to chase after. He made a lot of saves by doing that but his only mistake cost his team the penalty kick.

This did not happen when Equatorial Guinea co-hosted the tournament with Gabon in 2012. Could this be the work of the country's main opposition party's supporters who decided to disgrace President Obiang and his government? Don't forget that right before the tournament, the opposition asked its followers to boycott the event. Whatever the motif, CAF should send out a strong message by banning Equatorial Guinea from all football related activities for at least a year.
