You are so talented! I love to watch you decorate your cakes. You make the roses look so easy but they aren’t. I make a mess just trying to fill the piping bag.
I meant to comment last week - your husband did a terrific job!! Glad you’ve healed well and are feeling better.
Kathy, put your bag into a widemouth glass or jar and fold the sides down over the sides. Spoon the frosting in, rolling the sides up as it fills. Fill 1/2-3/4 full only. Then fold the sides in at angles and roll down. I find it easier to use a bag that's a bit larger than needed so I can fold it down more, avoiding it squeezing out the top

When you put the hot water in your cake you might substitute strong coffee for another layer of flavor with same ingredients. You do beautiful work.

Break the eggs into another bowl before adding into the mixture.bcoz if the egg is rotten it will save you from trouble n wastage ❤
Thanks for the suggestion, but I know when eggs are good or bad, I can easily recognize it in its shell and smell.. And the eggs here in town are always good and fresh, so no worries ☺️
