Among The First to France

The 18th Engineers were among the first AEF troops to arrive in France in late August 1917. They were tasked with building a massive dock structure, and supporting infrastructure, in order for the arriving AEF to land and make there way to the war front. My father took 250 photos of his tour of duty from June 1917 thru May 1919.
