Crossbow Wild Turkey Hen 2023!

These turkeys came off the roost a little after 7. I shot this one about 7:05. Our shotgun regulations state that we cannot shoot a turkey out of a tree until after 7am, and there is nothing in the archery regulations stating we can't shoot a turkey in a tree, so I was golden with the crossbow. I looked at the time (you'll see the camera recording while I checked my phone to make sure of the time), and then I swung around the tree to get a bead on the first turkey that lit about 20yds from me and about 50ft +/- up. I couldn't get a clear shot at that one, so I noticed the other one in the same tree and shot it. It ended up being a perfect shot--the breasts and leg quarters were perfect! We got almost 3 inches of snow between 1am and 11am this day, and I also coulda shot a little button buck at 15yds from this same stand, but I let him go. Thanks for watching!
