Ryan’s a senior trader at Kershner Trading Group/SMB Capital-having joined the firm’s New York office in 2016, after booking a one-way flight from Cape Town, SA.
Ryan may be best described as an intraday equities trader, however he’ll also put on swing positions when there’s a larger story/catalyst/theme at play. I was keen to learn more about how Ryan works these multi-day trades, so we step through specifics.
Additionally, I ask Ryan about his path to becoming a prop trader, early developments, and to conclude our talk, Ryan shares a few of his daily habits, routines, etc.

always as real, neither is it easy getting stocks that
are sure to go up.

If you watch his analysis videos it’s clear he’s a smart guy with a good process...but he Remortgaged his home to get 50k in options. Sadly another victim of herd mentality and I don’t feel sorry for him. His process fascinates me though.
@@lastnamefirst650 anticipating a short squeeze is cool and all people do it all the time... But pure luck it got the traction to go much higher than 50... Had it not been for that he'd be unknown.. I didn't know he remortgaged his house to get that 50k to invest and he still didnt lock in 40 million? Or atleast lock in half for 20 million let the rest ride? Dude, talk about greed.. My god..

It's kind of surprising how many down to earth people in the trading world. Don't get me wrong plenty of egos and lambo chasers too, but there's also a lot of people who just like the challenge of the game.

@ 51:30 if you can't help but to compare yourself to other traders, then do it with R value instead of total $ amount. Then you can get a more accurate normalized comparison (obviously smaller traders have more opportunities than large size traders though). Also, keep in mind that the journey of a new trader is something you should relish and enjoy. There is something exciting about having not completely figured it out yet and still sharpening your tools. I'd imagine that excitement will eventually be lost as you become more successful. I've experienced this feeling in other aspects of life. Great interview as always Aaron and good luck to everyone!

You should try getting Al Brooks in your podcast, been in a cycle of studying his methods, reading his books, and listening to your podcast basically for the part year now. Would love to see you interview him!
Al brooks may be good but he's much to over complicated in my opinion 😉

I’ve been tráding btc for years now, I still think it’s the best to invest in, but don’t totally ignore others.
Using the knowledge provided here to leverage the crypto markets. Money and risk management have proven early to be the biggest deciding factors, sprinkled with some fundamental understanding (BTC dominance, DEFI Pulse, etc). Keep fine tuning the plan traders, thank you for the content.

Trading with Mr Donald and his strategies is awesome, he has helped me to recover some capital I lost in the hands of incompetent Brokers/Account Managers but thanks to Almighty god that at last I came in contact with Mr Donald via his mail that was shared on the net by good traders, since then I have neve lost any trade you can reach him.

Recently, Britain had originally planned to ban the sale of new petrol and diesel-powered cars from 2040, as part of efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and in February Johnson brought this forward to 2035. Citing unidentified industry and government figures, the FT said Johnson now intended to move the date forward again to 2030 in a speech on environmental policy. This is great news for the comany. Huge potiential for growth with strategic partnerships with the British EV Market.

Why would you make a podcast targeting the 5% that make it?? .....in top of that why would those guys even listen to this podcast if they are alreay killing it. His target audience are those learning and those struggling that want to make it in the markets. But I get your point.... when he interviewed Rambo, John asked him why he was so negative and I got that it was this point youre making (watch that interview its really cool)

@@tradelogikk8182 It's just the same thing over and over... edge is to the short side + psychology of setups + data tracking..got it. It'd just be cool to get more variety (e.g., what about more FX traders, algo traders, bitcoin traders, options traders, hedge fund guys, etc.)
