Living in the city is so hot, this is the reason why I take a bath at night because the water is cold😂 but if you live in a countryside and your house is filled with big trees like mangosteen, lanzones, coconut trees, it’s better to take a shower in the morning because the water is cold as ice, you don’t want to attempt to take a shower at night because the water is x5 colder 🥶 😂

Refreshed and awake maybe, but clean? Not so much. Taking a cold shower it never feels like I got the soap off properly. I can only do them in the heat of summer.

What i do is to dip my finger first into the water then pour it on my feet and on my under arms then say a little prayer and then I'll start pouring water on my body while screaming that it's cold😂 cold showers is better than hot showers health wise.

I'm from L.A. county like Tiffany. Here, the only time most people probably entertain the thought of taking a cold shower is when there is a triple digit heatwave.
Also, I think at first Tiffany might have been thinking of how someone, especially one's boyfriend, telling you to take a cold shower is them saying you are too turned on and need to calm down. I seldom ever hear someone mention a cold showed in any other context other than that.

Here in the Philippines average houses don't have water heater. So when we're in elementary and our class is 6am we took a bath at 4am so our mom used to boil us water.
But when I reached high school and college I decided not boil any hot water because cold water helps me to be awake.
I hate it just have no choice, but before I do that I would literally stare at the water for 10 minutes HOPING i would heat up 😂

At my place we take cold showers every day and only take warm showers when we don't feel well or are sick. If I remember correctly, bathing in warm water too often can dry out the skin and a cold shower is good for helping the body's immunity and is very refreshing, especially in the morning.

As an Indonesian, I only take warm showers when I'm sick or at the cold night of dry season. Taking warm showers at any other time is counterintuitive, it only makes you sweaty right after the shower.
