It Reminded me that humans have been caring for the land and sustaining themselves just fine for thousands of years until about 100 years ago. Now kids aren't even taught how seeds produce food as part of general education. Technology and greed has fostered a society of dependence.
Miniature Merger We utilize mergers in the USA, only on a large scale usually behind tractors. But tractors on this slope would be dangerous. Good work
Amazing simply amazing, Does the engine use a oil pump to lubricate while working at severe grade? Does the young man wear cleats, Im sure this is normal for the area but to me that is simply ingenious and rugged.
A thought, when the pile becomes large if you have extra people a long board will a rope on each end could be used to drag down big chunks at a time. You wouldn't get it all but it would lighten the load for the machine as he goes back and forth.
My guess is that they pick it up with a tractor with loading wagon. Try search for Reform Muli in youtube and you find. After that its normal to put it in a haybarn. :)
@@deere7227 They mow it with the same machine. Try search for rapid rex in youtube. The grass is not high and its normal to cut at least 3 or 4 times. Most of the grass is natural, and only fertilized with manure. Try search for Reform Muli and you find a tractor that is normal to use in that kind of hills.
It looks as though it picks up or pulls up some degree of live vegetation mixing it with your dry hay reintroduces moisture don't pack it too tight in the barn before you dry it again. Those who don't know wet hay packed tightly creates heat and can combust
Wet packed hay as well as manure can easily reach 300°F on the inside half of the pile or whatever it is. So any dry flammable materials such as dry hay can catch fire quite easily when introduced to such an environment. The only solution to this is salt, salt, and tons more salt. On my dad's farm we do have small bailers but sometimes we get stuck in situations where drying the hay enuf to bail or just to put in the barn safely is not an option so when that happens once the hay is in the barn my dad put lots of extra hay salt on the hay to suck all that heat and moisture out. Normally he will put a light sprinkle on the hay regardless but in some cases I've seen him douse it so much that the top of the hay was half white from so much salt.
@@baileydombroskie3046 hi I'm thinking of using salt too ,did he put salt between each layer of bales ,?? I've seen them put salt on top of a maize silage stack ,whole pallet load ,thanks
@@trevorslater2746 ya, each row gets salt. Whether u finish the row or not u put it down on top after each row is finished or r done putting hay down. Using hay salt u shud be putting maybe 1 handful down per 100'² of hay when it's dry already. If it's damp maybe twice, and if it's still very wet I suggest damn near dousing it, maybe 1 handful per 20'² or more. And I'm assuming ur bales r about a foot tall like my dad's r. U can probably go thru like 3++ bags of salt a year if u r doing about 1000+ bales, each bale being 50-60lbs dry (1'H/1.5'W/3'L).
Second crop in Maine invariably gets baled too moist. No worries, generally speaking. We keep tabs on the hay with a hay bale thermometer. When we feed it out it smells like pipe tobacco, and dusty as can be...but the cows love it.
Tragic really.... all those rakers now laid off... back at the house... sitting around on their phones getting fat, ugly, brain dead and going broke ordering junk from amazombie!!!! : )
Look at those clean hills all ready for cheese rolling contests
I don’t see how this comment doesn’t have WAY MORE likes. Lol
Brilliant buddy, just brilliant.
the amazing thing is this was recommended to me by YT. watched the entire thing.
Same. Not sure why but I enjoyed it.
Me, too. Enjoyed every minute.

That is one steep hillside and what a terrific piece of equipment!
😂😂😂😂😂😂well your comment made my day but can you invest something better instead of complaining my friend
Sands Blue so glad my comment made your day! 😊 So TRUE....invest and don’t complain! Lol! Loved the video!
Maybe invest in a remote controlled hillside lawn mower, the kids will love it and work that hill all day!
Very good design. Looks like it gets more hay than manual raking too.

work smart not hard amazing machine sir outstanding
Very clever. I am also very impressed. WELL DONE !
Wow this is amazing to compair wat you did before,
Nice clean Field the machine did a great job .p.s. I would like to see HOW they CUT the field looks like it had had lest 4 foot high grass 🤔
I think they use the same engine with a mower ??
Looking at people raking that hillside reminded me of combing and grooming a large pet with very tangled fur.

Sehr cooles Video! 👏🏻😀
Odlično nadomestilo za ročno delo
I bet that smells gorgeous
A need and an idea, great invention.
Wow, tolle Technik!
Also did anyone else see all the green grass still in that hay? Thats what we call barn burner stuff or at least it'll get moldy as hell.
I wonder how the hay was baled. They didn't show that part.
And 1oooooooooooooo...Lke! from, ROMĂNIA!

That good be a 2 six pack job after finishing that hillside.
Great invention

this just raises further questions...
Works only on an incline? Just wondering.
Nice video. I see in the comments many people dont know how it is to work in theese steep hills..: )
What is the music called in the last couple seconds??
Cert nice
Thats cool
Good machine
Is there a smaller version, for pine leaves, perhaps with leaves bag stuffing?
Shop vac work good
Great way to get value out of that hillside
How is that cut in the first place?
How much does this hay dozer cost ?
👏👏👏
Wow!!!
What do they do with it when it's all at the bottom of the hill?

What song 1:38-2:37 ?
How do you cut the grass on the side of the mountain ?
With the tractor that the implement is on.
great machine and hayrake ! Would it be possible to connect Rapid Twister with BCS 630 WS MAX ???

Before.... Whole family have fun together,,,,, later.... Alone guy playing with toys himself
How are you supposed to get a flat with those tires? 😁
Forgive my ignorance but what do they do with it when it gets to the bottom of the hill ? do they bail it ?

I want to see the same thing - How did they cut that hay?
Good
What do you do with a wind row that big.
How did they mow it.
A BCS and and the best attachment ever...

I think they suckered us. I was thinking same thing, how many acres a day. How did they plant, fertilize, cut, bale.

Good job of knocking all the leaves off.
But what if you need to get the hay UP the hill?
Well would have been nice to see the end of haying process.
Can this machine clean the farm after stuffing the cut hay I want information with a number or email company
No
Now it just needs to be remote controlled and slightly bigger.
Does it snow there? That would be literally a killer hill.
Abby Babby it does...but thats just a normal hill. Its not steep at all
Of course! It's snowing here. It's too steep for skiing (Maybe for the professionals :-) )
Jump the church steeple!
Wouldn't work on a level field. Hay looks a bit green to me!
You're right. The use of the machine is only possible on the hill.

It's not difficult to work with. The main rotating part slides on the ground. Shield is made of aluminum.
Smart - soon you won't need anyone else to work the land. On the upside, no more bare bellies.
bare bellies? the hell are you talking about?
Just ask a farmer to come by and bale it up ☺️

I do not know if the tree tool has a special name in English. These are wooden forks for grass.

Doesn't that rolling the hay over and over knock all the leaves off?
It actually knocks less leaves off than the conventional equipment with rakes.

I'm surprised how big of wads it was rolling
Those wads weren't very dense. His material stayed light and fluffy which I found odd. Working hay like that should compact it similar to raking.
