There are so many insane video but I chose these videos. Sadly, he doesn’t perform often, so 2019 is the most recent..(Actually, after 2019, there are musicals and fan meeting concert, but sharing is prohibited in principle. Oh, but You can watch musical curtain call videos)
Those are emotional songs but he also sings really well at rythmical sound too! Because he debut at 1999 as R&B vocalist! He was 18 years old when he debut! He really like dancing so he always sing exciting song with groovy dance at his every concert!

Thank you, thank you, thank you. Park Hyo Shin is considered a Korean living legend. He's been in the industry for almost 24 years as is largely considered their best vocalist. He is primarily a balladeer and has also had a very successful career in stage musicals, winning a best actor award in 2019 for his performance in 'The Man who Laughs'. He is a powerhouse on stage and has the most incredible vocal range and capacity. Please delve into his stunning discography. His vocals are perfect live, and he is truly magnificent. He sings with so much emotion which is a huge part of his popularity, he is a very sincere and humble man. You have to listen to Wildflower, it's his biggest and most known song, his vocals are incredible. Breath is my absolute favourite song that I listen to all the time. Other favourites that you should check are definitely 'The Day' which he wrote for an epic K-drama about the Korean War (the song is stunning), 'Sound of Winter', a beautiful song, 'The Wind is Blowing' a duet with Korean jazz legend Park Sung Yeon, their vocals complement each other beautifully. His last album titled 'I am a Dreamer' is an absolute masterpiece. Once you've heard his voice, down the rabbit hole you go. It's called the Park Hyo Shin effect. Enjoy, there is no one like him. 🥰🌳

He is insanely good. Have you heard Wildflower? There is one version that I especially love that is just him and his piano player in a studio. I think I’ll go listen to it again. And no, he has always been a soloist. Has a sad yet interesting story and is still working based on what I have read.
His song “The Day” is also well known. It was an OST. Another personal favorite is “Sound of Winter”.
He is still working, he just had a fan sign concert that Tae attended, they did a TikTok dance to slow dancing, 1st ever dance challenge, they say that Tae has been such a good influence and bringing out his playful side more. I’ve love his voice so much

I remember the first time I heard this song I cried... 😅 he is one of my favorite singers, although he is not so famous internationally in South Korea, he is very respected and admired by the most famous idols.

You want to know some more stuff about Park Hyo Shin? Happy to oblige. He is a nationally revered singer in South Korea, but is not very welll known in the rest of the world. He has had a long, dramatic career which began around 25 years ago. In his early career he was treated very, very badly by his management companies, who would schedule performances for him where they would not pay the venue, musicians etc leaving that to PHS. They also over-scheduled him to the point where he developed dysphonia. Around the same time, a close friend of his committed suicide. PHS joined the military (required for all men in South Korea), not sure of his future in music. Luck or fate intervened because he met Jung Jae Il while in the military. JJL is the pianist in the video you reacted to. He is also a world famous composer, having won an Oscar for Best Original Music Score in 2020 for the movie "Parasite" and also was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music in 2022 for the Neflix series "Squid Game". This duo had an incredible writing/performiing partnership for a few years, including the performance of "Breathe" which you just watched. Their most famous song, though, is "Wildflower' which describes the hardships PHS suffered as well as his hope for a new future in his creative life. There are two perfomances of this song I highly recommend. The first is a live performance he did for a TV show. He had to make several starts before he was ablo to complete the song, because it is so emotional for him. He is a very private person, and since his problems earlier in his career, he does not make many public appearances. He had a series of concerts in 2019 at a concert venue of 10-15 thousand seats. All of the tickets sold out in minutes. Since then he has appeared in two musicals and most recently in September 2023, he gave a several concerts for members of his fan club. He asks the members of his fan club not to share video so it is difficult to see any recordings from those concerts. I was lucky enough to attend one of his concerts in 2019. He performed for more than 4 hours! He is better live than in his recordings, in my personal opinion, not only because of his talent and technical skills, but also because he is energized by the live audience. I can't think of anyone who compares to him!
His old management company also sued him for breach of contract when he tried to get out from them because they hadn't paid him... But he lost and had to pay like 3 million to them. He had to sell everything. That's when he went into the military, at probably his lowest point. But it probably saved him cause he met Jung JaeIl there.

He grabs you with his voice and takes you on an emotional journey with him thru every emotion possible. Writes his own lyrics and music, alone or in collaboration. Younger artists like V from BTS idolize him. You won't find a bad performance ,song, or note from him. He is a perfectionist who works his butt off to do his absolute best every time. YESSS; FINALLY!! I cant say anything else that I will forever be a dedicated Soultree (PHS fanbase). He was the very first
S-korean vocalist I ever knew before I got into Kpop, and even with an industry with so many outstanding vocalist, Park Hyo Shin is a level on his own. (The Captain, called by us fans) He has an AMAZING dischography, a mixture of ballads and R & B, but so much more so. Lately he has been acting as a musical artist as the main character, and he is simply OUTSTANDING!! He has a long story full of struggle in the industry, hence he often takes some hiatus. But his talent cant be nothing less than iconic. Besides his remarkable korean discography, he has also (unofficially) done cover of famous English songs live, like UPTOWN FUNK (Bruno Mars), HAPPY (Farrell Williams), Live High (Jason Mraz), just to mention some..

Park Hey Shin is a phenomenal singer. He's solo. Go listen to "Wildflower and Goodbye", you will tear up. His ballads bring so much to the listner. Park Hyo Shin is fabulous! I've loved his voice when I first ran across his Wildflower video. Been a fan ever since. Such a hidden gem from us in the U.S anyway. Unless is older music like 80s and back for U.S music, I listen to all foreign music now. So much better than the crap they try to pass off as music nowadays.

And you are thinking that he sounds like Michael bolten thats what I think. Park Hyo Shin is who I listen to when I wake up my kids get bored of it but I don't like many noises when I wake up. Park Hyo Shin Is 1 of the greatest Korean artist ever! Not just singer, but also composer & writer. He wrote many of his hit songs including wildflower(with his friend Jung Jae Il who also made music for Parasite movie). In Korea Park is famous for singing even better at live than recorded verson. The scariest part is that he sounds just as good, if not better live. If you ask any Korean who the best Korean vocalists are, they will say "kim, na, park, lee", referring to kimbumsoo, naul, parkhyoshin, and leesoo respectively!
