Thank you. I have natal retrograde Mars in Aslesha in the 8th. All my other placements make complete sense but my Mars sign has always baffled me. However, the instant I read about it actually being more reflective of Dhanishta a light came on in my head. Its so true. I am in search of true spirituality even though I have found my guru in my early 30’s & received the knowledge of meditation 🧘♀️. Regards to relationship is true... connected to someone different from my religion & background and culture from Israel but find it difficult to form a meaningful bond. 3:05 mind blown, this should be talked about more! Turns my debilitated Jupiter Rx in Virgo into exalted in Pisces. My Venus is also in Pisces, in tight opposition to Jupiter (tightest aspect in chart). The Jupiter Rx sign-change to the home of its opposite really seems to alter the dynamic of the opposition in a major way🤯🤯
Jupiter is not debilitated in virgo, but Capricorn.

mercury atmakaraka and lagnalord retrograde in 8th house capricorn in dhanishta . its exalted and in 8th house in navamsa and sits with ketu .can definitely resonate when u said that i have a very strong desire to achieve a very specific purpose in this life since i always feel restricted as well as guided through very unique and absurd means giving me the impression that something higher is communicating to me through unique circumstances.

Thank you, Gina. Great video as always. However, I do wonder with point number 7, where you mentioned that houses ruled by retrograde planets can be spoiled. In a birth chart I know, Mercury and Saturn are retrogrades, they rule 2nd & 5th, and 9th & 10th respectively. They are not debilitated and Saturn is Vargottama, and yet she got her permanent office job and promotion during Mercury-Saturn MD-AD period. So I wonder what this point means exactly by houses ruled by them being spoiled..

Excellent video and a great effort. Is it good when a yoga karaka is retrograde since it is now more powerful and a very important planet for the chart?
That will depend on other situations such as the planet involved houses rules etc etc... but being yoga Karaka should help you to overcome some aspects of the retrogradation if well placed etc..esp in Dasha...On the other hand to get the good karma of the yoga Karaka you have to go through more stress but results could be outstanding

I’m here as I’ve a 3rd house Jupiter in Gemini Retrograde and I needed to understand me better! Gemini retrograde then will act like a Sagittarius? The education piece, wow! Hated school in my youth but here I’m half way through my MBA Management. My son is referred to as ‘the mayor’ and I think this boy will be a big time entrepreneur when he gets older. Dear Gina, I have Jupiter Retrograde in pisces 27 degrees revati (first house), also Rahu in the same house 7 degrees in Uttara Bhadrapada; Ascendent 11 degrees Uttara bhadrapada. I Had many different consultations and none could explain the effects. Is this guru chandal yoga? Is this Jupiter retrograde acting as debilitated because it is in its own house (pisces)? I've got both Saturn and Jupiter Retrograde. It just blows my mind because you gave the example of my Saturn (debilitated in 5th house) and Jupiter (Atmakaraka). So both have Silver LININGS and very very big importance in my life.
Jupiter Rx being AK and 1st house in Karakamsa Lagna? It's obvious how intense the focus is, and how the karmas are strong... All playing out in my 3rd house.
Saturn is Deb in 5th house. My difficulties in expression, childhood, creativity was my biggest frustration. True to your analysis, it does get better. Then again, it spoiled the houses ruling it. The house of Jupiter Rx AK is in is also spoiled.

I just can’t get over how meticulous and articulate you are. Definitely an inspiration on many things I do. I m a Jupiter retrograde in Aquarius, in 3rd house. Speed shows -0:05:00. Don’t know what the speed indicates but it may be related to your point 4.
Hi the speed of planet Is shown by how many degrees it has gone through in a month.. it’s sometimes easier just to look at the column itself rather than worry with the figure at the bottom because the planet may have speeded up after your birthday ! that figure you quote is very slow, almost stationary. The third type I described ..in 4.

Atmakaraka conjunct amatyakaraka is usually considered a good yoga but would this be undone by one of these being retrograde in exaltation. Can a retrograde planet in exaltation participate in yoga forming combinations in a beneficial way or is this always ruined?

You must have faced difficulties....I have 3 planets retrogade...
I must add that retro Jupiter can also give problems with a father, especially in a female chart (violent father etc.) in their childhood. And later in life it can give a dominating, overcontrolling, overdemanding and self-rightous attitude towards everybody whom a person consider "lower" in status and/or his or her "property", especially to their "own" children.
In other words, it can show a very deep inferiority complex, which leads to inadequate behaviour.
True I have Jupiter retrograde. Father was extremely short tempered and violent towards me. He always criticize me about my memory and intellect, he used to hit me in front of people to show me my place.
My mother become extremely protective of me due to this. She rarely left me with my father.

@@a.r.2006I found this to be true for me as well in the case of father with abuse and neglect. With husband, it depends on how much internal work you have done to recognize the pattern you have with your own father. If you're not aware that you seek relationship with men that mimic the relationship with your father, then you can fall for a toxic husband as well. But if you keep learning from your experience (as with the case of retrograde planets - they make you keep learning), then you can avoid abusive men and be rewarded with a good husband
@@aurigavega I don't speak to him. He still tries to but I don't . My baby brother whom I raised like my own treated me like dad(Mars in 3rd house Jupiter in 6th). I don't even bother to look at him. Apart from that, I don't have any bad experience regarding men in family. I only live for my mom. The only human emotion that I have or had calming memories I've is because I don't want her to suffer or feel aggrieved. I can kill myself but I can't because of my mom. I can't hurt her at all.

But we must live for ourselves, though. Despite all our karmic debts and tasks, griefs etc., that life puts us through, every person is born here to live their own life. The best way that you can "work out" such karma for your mom and yourself is 1. forgive those who hurt you and your siblings (however hard it may be) 2. live our own life and be happy (and in order to do that, we must find our own true desires and paths in life). Yes, it`s not easy, but we must do it anyway. Sirprisingly, the hardest part for us may be LETTING ourselves be happy and leave all grudges in the past. The easiest part is the hardest for us (especially for women). - and that is smth that we should change, without forgetting about our healthy responsibilities. Spiritual, enegy practicees etc. may help huge time. ❤🩹💚
In other words, you can try to break this pattern of suffering women in your lineage. Just a little more mindfulness, a little more forgiveness (self-forgiveness included), less judging of men in general (this is very important, otherwise you can store up EVEN MORE difficult karma with men), a more often smile every day, - and you, slowly but surely, will be heading towards a completely different road in life, with happier kind of experiences. You can do it, I believe in you.
And always remember: those who did wrong to you and/or judge you in a wrong way, - they `ll always get this boomerang from the Universe. So, you don`t have to worry about them. Just live and let live. With a smile and gratitude.
Because if we keep our grudges inside, we can`t find peace in our soul. And without it - nothing makes sense.
May i ask a question? i have debilitated Jupiter retrogade in D1 chart(with neech bhanga) but its exalted in the D9 chart so does the reverse effect of exaltation/debilitation stay with d1 or d9 or both?

My interest was really piqued with the signed swapping exaltation/debilitation due to retro. Perhaps for some retro situations, the chart is read in reverse? So, the 4th house becomes the 10th house due to retro. It’s tricky to figure out…
Thanks for this explanation. How would someone analize that in lagna chart there is a exalted and retrograde planet but in Navamsa chart that planet is debilitated and retrograde?

Thank you so much Gina . Should we consider the retrograde motion when analyzing retrograde planets in the divisional charts. Also, what are the effects of retrograde malefic planets tightly conjunct the always retrograde nodes, especially Ketu which already is a strong internalized karmic energy.
There is no retrograde motion in divisional charts as they are not actual planets in the sky they are just mathematical divisions of the original horoscope. Yes when malefic are retrograde the energy is quite heavy and being with Rahu or Ketu esp so..Ketu Will intensify the need to control or to transcend the karmas
Ahh..I just read your question and understand that you may mean how do we see retrograde planet in divisional chart? Then the answer is that you see them as any other planet but you take note of the karma is that you have with them as shown in the D1 what you are looking for is an is a good placement in a varga chart...So that in that particular area of life the retrograde planet can become fortunate for you
