This is completely useless now.
The hard tyres don’t last a half hour here anymore, and will be completely fucked at the 25 minute mark.
The fuel usage is also higher now. Running ‘2’ is also not good enough anymore. Not even if you run it from the very beginning of the race, which you didn’t even bother to do.
Thirdly, you aren’t even driving against real race cars. 56.5? Surely, you accidentally put it on easy difficulty, because I have to deal with mid 54’s. Consistently. For an hour.
Screw this.

If you want to win, look up ‘lake maggiore glitch’
You can park the car after the hairpin and gain 10 seconds per lap.
From 56s to 46s per lap.
I reviewed the footage of the fastest guy, Gallo, and found that his NSX is about 10-15kph faster on the straights than the very same fucking car in my own hands.
I could literally toss the car through the chicanes like a madman, watch the gap trickle down, only to level out and start gaining. He is literally bringing a car with more than the legal limit of horsepower.
There is no way that I can get a better exit going onto the back straight, and watch him come closer, only for him to pull out an extra 100 up and just leave.
The game is cheating, so go ahead and do the same.
Oh, and in case your wondering;
You’d be about 1-2 laps behind using your old strategy. My opponents almost got into their 33rd lap. You’re only barely making 31 laps, they are almost making 33, so you’re a good 2.5/3 minutes behind the new difficulty level.

1,56 on hard tyres, beast!
I just did this using the VW Beetle Gr.3 with medium tyres/2-pit strategy, with TCS 0. I was running around 1:57:000 laps with this (best 1:56:350), and won by 21 seconds lead from Rubilar.
For anyone struggling with finding a decent car for this race, i really recommend the Beetle, it performs very nicely.

I bought and tried like 6-7 cars before this, The Beetle Gr.3 is a beast! Like on rail, waaaaay better than the RCZ which everyone suggest (it bounces during corners wtf).
I did it with the strategy above, RM pitting 1 lap after the competitors (after ~20 mins and ~40 mins), won by 12s (last stint was like cruising to be safe, never made mistake tho.
My laps were 1.58 average (had TCS on 1, maybe for that) and best 1.56.5.
The hardest part is the first stint, if you get the lead before pitting is almost done, just don't make mistakes and keep consistency.
Do the CE for Lake Maggiore and you're ready for this (use the curbs A LOT, like almost cut them all).

i gave up after several tries
lets start with ai behavior
they will sideswipe you in turns and simply plow trough you if necessary, their cars for some reason have weight of the titanic, so you cant do that in return
obvious rubberbanding in this race, ai will hang back and catch up with you in secs, i expect this in nfs but not in gt game, shame
bop is completely different to the circuit experience challenge, simply buy alfa and try to do that in the race, it will be slower, it's tuned differently
at some point gallo would do 1.55 while sliding all over the place while maintaining perfect medium tires, also lopez never pits, which simply can't be done, i could only go for 20 laps and could never hit lap times he did with the fuel map on 3 while using same car, btw he did this in first mission as well
this mission is not hard or challenging, its simply broken, hence the name human comedy

yep all my friends unistalled afther they saw ai 1.55 and some never pit:D + they ram u evry possible way this game is sh1t im glad its lowest rated game on metacritic abasolute garabage!

@@RubenFPSC rubilar stops 2 times drives with medium tires. runs laps from 1.55-1.56 if u dont drive constantly 1.57 1 hour straight ur not gonna make it
@@siven5 I did 1 stop hard tyres high 1:58-1:59 and did it with 15s advantage with some minor mistakes
How he just breezes by the Mercedes on lap 1 is astonishing, every single attempt I've made that thing has been impossible to catch, I'm setting 1:58's and the odd 1:57 and I'm getting no where near the front - AI is so broken!

So i've tried the R.S.01 GT3, Atenza Gr.3, M6 GT3, Viper SRT GT3-R, RCZ Gr.3, R8 LMS Evo, Corvette C7 Gr.3 & the RX-Vision GT3 Concept & i just can't win. I can get up to P.2 in the Vision GT3, but shortly after, the AI turns into hyper aggressive mode, gets a 300hp boost & punts me off the track repeatedly. They will absolutely resort to the dirtiest tactics to stop me from being near the front. Anyone else having this issue?
I've tried all them also. Car I can get the furthest is Corvette C7 but the most fatal flaw of this race is the AI, drivers you need to watch out for are N. Rubilar, he cuts corners and tries his best to knock others off the track, second is V. Gallo, he does the same around lap 10 and thirdly, G. Lopez, I can never catch up to him even when he doesn't pit, he never pits once for me..I literally cant do it, it's the last gold need for the mission challenges it's so stressful... 😣😣

This mission was by far the hardest even after getting gold on the circuit experience. I won with the Z4 GT3 2 pit strat. TC off, fuel map 1, pit round 10 and 20.
Rubilar gave me the most trouble, my last stint Lopez was over 20s ahead but I caught up to him in 3 laps and he fell all the way to P6 before the end of the race. For a long time it looked like Beauvois in the AMG was going to finish 2nd until Rubilar flew past him like he wasn't even there. Crazy guy closed 4s on me during the last lap, I might have been just subconsciously bringing it home safely but still scared me a little.
Used mediums, 2 stop - laps 10 and 20, refilling only up to 80% both stops. (Rubilar is fast but if you refill 80% only it's enough for the stint and your stop is around 4s faster than his - ez gap).
Drove the Z4 GT3, low 58s-mid 57s, high 56 laps 3 and 24. Believe, kings! And go get them.

With the new update this mission is so difficult. Granted I don't have the pace Harmonic has here, but I usually put in 1:58s with the odd 1:57. I was somehow 45 seconds off the lead at the checkered flag.
With those times u should be able to beat it. In the first lap be agressive and use the cars on corners to bump and cut. U should be able to get to 2nd by 2nd lap

I can only dream of a 1.56 lap. I can’t seem to go any quicker than 1.58 and often average 1.59 to 2.00.
This one has me beat.
I try easing in and out of corners and on accelerator and brake but no joy.

Did it with the Aston Martin
Simple tips:
- Find your braking points (the circuit experience braking points are mostly too early with the Aston Martin.
Important braking points are: turn 1 when the fence ends on the straight.
The cambered corner when the green wall ends.
Before the double right hander near the end of the lap, slightly before the 50 meter marker (after the marshal post)
The last corner, at the last of 3 poles before the corner.
- Reduce the amount of braking applied for the medium speed corners.
- reduce the use of kerbs and wheelspin to have better tires at the end of each stint
- when a opponent is close to attack you, drive in the middle of the track. They will pass you at the outside so you can push them wide, so you'll get some breathing room. (The cambered corner is great for pushing them in the gravel if needed)
Driving in the middle helps you for not being knocked out of the race.
- finish some races as practice (somehow they will get easier on you if you have finished it)
- open with a lap around 2.06 (i did 2.04)
Would love to see some more tuning vids like generic stuff for 4WD and some of the touring car 600/700/800
big tip for this challenge, I didn't do it as fast as yourself but still, is that there are really only 2 major braking zones. t1, and big banky boy. you needn't use 100% braking force on any other turns in the track (and even the previous 2 mentioned you can apply 90%). applying only 50 to 70% braking force really preserves your tyres significantly over a longer period, and that style works well with MR cars

I did it on mediums in the RCZ and finished third. I was only three seconds ahead on the penultimate lap when I got spun overtaking a backmarker and when I rejoined I was immediately taken off the track again and was in sixth. I was very lucky and aggressive in my driving to actually get the third. I shall try again today with your strat.

For anyone still going for this, I highly suggest using the Peugeot RCZ. I tried following this video, and the Renault R.S.01 GT3 was fast enough to get to first but lacked control and grip, keep in mind I turned TCS off, because you won't have a chance with it on, it slows the car down too much. Anyway, once I tried driving the Peugeot RCZ, my god it's perfect for this mission. It's fast, and even with TCS at 0, the car's grip and downforce is alot better, and makes this mission more doable, but you're still going to need skill. I ran 1:58 laps pretty consistantly, only pitted once, and finished about 5 seconds ahead of 2nd place.

The GT500 Supra also does fairly well for this race
I've done every Endurance Mission on gold except this one, this is by far the hardest. I've also tried with 4 different cars Ford GT, Porsche, Mercedes, Aston Martin but with all of them I just got 3rd or 2nd. The AI in the last 15 minutes pushes unbelievable hard especially the BMW M6 GT3 it just flies away and impossible to catch. I'm doing low 1:58 laptimes.
I must adjust to a very aggressive strategy, 3x pit stops (10 laps), 3x medium tyres, with fuel all the time on 1.
If you ever get chance during the last few laps look at how the sls and m6 take the corners I've never ever seen a car take them that wild and not spin out yet they catch up so fast
Man this one was hard for me. Tried a bunch of different suggested cars without success. Eventually got gold with the Hyundai Genesis Gr.3. Very stable fast car with good fuel consumption. Fuel Map 1 all the way. Pitted in 11th lap and around 20th. Fuelled for 11 laps. Steady laps around 1.58/1.59 (Traction control 1/Abs Default) Got 1st with about 5 seconds ahead of nr 2.
Aston martin DBR9 suits my the best , second for me was bmw m6. they're the only car that can catch up with 1st AI on the straight. My strategy was 2 pits for each 10 laps with medium tyre.
Update 1.48: if you haven’t been able to beat this yet, try the Honda NSXGT500. I finally beat this race with it yesterday, and finished with a 17 second lead on the hardest difficulty.
Run medium tires, fuel map 1 the entire time. Pit at the end of lap 10, change tires and fill to 12 laps. Pit one more time at the end of lap 20, change tires and fill up to 11. I averaged 1:58 per lap. I had 6-8 laps at 1:57 and two laps at 2:00 flat when my tires got low but even then the car handles great. Hope this helps.
I did it with M6 endurance version after tried RCZ and AMG GT. I’m using RM tire, 2 stop @ lap 10&20, 90%fuel at first stop,70% at second. Fuel map 1 all the way. Making consistently low 1:58s and 1:59 and 2nd place is ~15 sec behind me.
Is there any real in game difference to the sprint and endurance versions of the M6?
How could u do 70% on the 2nd stop? U need about 90% for 10laps and the Race is 10-11more Laps After pit 2. i tried Ur strat But i ran out of fuel. If i do 90% on both i cant get 1st Even With 1:57 - 1:58 pace

I did a 1-Stop strategy with both stints on mediums and the tyres held up pretty well.
Best lap for me was a sub 1:57 and on average around 1:58.
By the end I also had over a minute gap to 2nd.
Yes, I mention it at 2:01.
I did it on hard tyres thought mediums would me me lose too much time did and average 1:58-59 still didn’t win by a lot I think only 10s
@@RubenFPSC similar to you, I've 3 stops, Medium Hard Hard. The Mediums dying out at lap 7 and loosing much Time. I've tried it with 6 GR3 cars already but I'm losing at the and against the M6 and Merc. Porsche was the best option with 2nd place. I'm trying now the Peugeot and Renault, hope that helps something.
How did you get only 1 pit stop? What fuel strat did you run? If I drive the RCZ the tyre wear on medium is ridiculous and since the last update it slides around on the large banked turn as you come down the hill under breaking to which it never did prior to the last update!

I admire your guide but it’s clear that you are a very experienced driver. Not only do you recommend one of the hardest Gr. 3 cars in the game (even harder than the R8) you also have the capabilities to push for 1.56, which is unbelievably fast even for someone with many hours in the game. To tame the RS01 and then be able to drive it that fast is not even remotely possible for the average player who is going to struggle with this event. I do however find your track guidance useful!
Fair enough - that's why I recommended some other cars. The RCZ and Alfa 4C are strong picks that some may find easier to drive, which is why I brought them up
Does anyone knows how the gt500 Supra is for this race ? Loved this car since gt3 I kinda use it for every gr3 race, but I sometimes feels it’s just to slow.
But seeing you finish with a minute in front of p2 I guess there shouldn’t be a problem, right ?
It's a pretty good car on BoP, so as long as it works with fuel and tires here, it's a decent choice
Finally won the race, finished around 10 seconds ahead of P2 with the RCZ R Gr.3 with one pitstop on mediums. I switched to fuel map 2 on lap 7 and on lap 22 and short shifted between the current and suggested gear indicator from lap 22 on with one lap of fuel to spare at the end of the race. The RCZ R is so stable that I got similar laptimes with used mediums compared to fresh hards. So I'd definitely recommend using mediums if you try to win with the RCZ R.

There is absolutely no way to make a one stop work on mediums, completely impossible, maybe on a previous version.

Most players can’t run 1:58’s on hard tires though. So I hate they have gotten this far and won’t get the gold car prize.

If you need help with pace, you can camp in the slipstream of an ai that is putting in good pace, and intentionally not pass them. This can lower your lap times by more than a second, while also helping you save on fuel.
I don’t know if I’m unlucky or something but every attempt ive had (about 10) the car in first has set a 2 minute flat lap one. As soon as the field spreads out that’s it, whoever is infront of you is gone and the cars behind you just start catching up. This is on the hardest difficulty as well, I’ve tried using the cars the quickest ai use and got no where, tried using cars I’m comfortable with and the same thing. Im setting consistent 1.57s but they are mid 1:56s, I really don’t get it

I've tried the DBR9, the Corvette, the RCZ, the WRX, BRZ and the new Suzuki, all with Mediums with 2 stops my best result was 3rd about 13 seconds behind in the DBR9. The Corvette was the quickest lap times but fuel economy was terrible so pitstops were way too long, the DBR9 feels the most likely to succeed with for me. But damn the AI is quick, I'm doing 1:58's mostly, some 1:57's and maybe a 1:59 or 2 when the tires start to go away. All the videos I've watched of this feel like I'm driving almost as good, but my AI is way faster. Even in this video lap 1 the lead car does a 2:02, for me every single time that lead car first lap is a 2:00 too. Maybe I'll try the R.S with Hards, or even the DRB9 with Hards, gotta try something different

I did this with my Vette,Meds, 2 stops at end of lap 10, comfortable 20ish sec lead
OMG this mission is hell! I struggled with it 4 days, 10+ attempts to find this perfect strategy to win. I tried with 911 RSR and only finished 2nd with RH tyres and 1 pit stop. I started to search guides and others recommend RCZ for this race, so I bought it and tried again. I was trying both strategies of RH 1 pit stop and RM 2 pit stops and my results were even worse than with 911! I always finished 3rd or 4th. Again searching for guides, another try - RM 2 pit stops, little shortshifting and TCS 0 (previously I was driving with TCS 1) and... that was it! I finally won with 20 seconds of advantage against P2. Shortshifting saved me around 6% of fuel when piting at lap 10 which then saved my couple of precious seconds when refuelling while still doing laps around mid 1.57 to early 1.58. I was changing gears when rev bar was filled around 60-70%. My biggest shock was the fact how drastically TCS 1 was slowing me down, RCZ even with TCS 0 is super easy to handle with just tiny bit more aware to throttle control, but with TCS 0 my lap times were 0.5s to 1s faster, it perfomed much better on exiting corners.

@@itzfabzz562 Nope, I did this mission with RCZ, but probably with 911 it is also possible with this tactic.
By far the hardest Mission, I used the BMW Z4 maybe isn’t the fastest car but it handles better than any Gr. 3 car in my opinion so putting up 1:58 laps consistently is more attainable. Especially on a controller, which I use. Medium tires stop after lap 10 and lap 20 and should be fine
I'm on controller as well. The cars I mentioned are better IMO
For anyone that can't seem to use the RCZ or RS01 like me, I tried every Gr3 car in the game. One of the last cars I tried was the V12 Vantage. Car is a demon in the corners and I think has better acceleration than the Z4 and M6, you can be up to sixth place before the second corner. Even with my average driving skills and on TCS 3, I was finally able to post a 1.56 lap just once. If you can post a 1.56 in any other car, you may be able to post a faster time in this car. I used the two pits, one at 10, one at 20. As long as you're in first place going in, and post consistent 1.58-59 laps, you can hold it each time just by taking enough fuel for 11 laps. With some luck, you'll have some traffic in front of you can pass so that damn M6 has blockers in front of it.
I'll try it cause I don't have many choices left...
V12 Vantage is definitely the best car. I drove for 6 days until I read the comment and tried the car. Thanks mate. There is no better car for this mission.
Hards or mediums?
Yeah everyone loves the RCZ, i don't understand why, too much oversteer. I've found the DBR9 suits me best, but still cant beat this mission but maybe I'll need to give the V12 Vantage a go. I did manage to do a 1:56 in the DBR9 once, but typically I do 1:57/58
As far as I can tell "Balance of Power" really means "catastrophic power understeer". It ruins the whole concept of the game. By all means equalise power to weight ratio but the fact it locks out all other parameters means every car handles in a way you can't alter. So my Gr3 Viper which was absolutely sweet now just ploughs on in slow speed corners.
I know the track well, I got golds in all parts of the Circuit Experience. But the whole thing I like about racing games is being able to adjust the car to your individual preference and style and this Bop shite just ruins it for me.
You using a wheel? I have attempted this face maybe 5 times, but using a controller I feel I cannot get the precision. It’s hard man!
Finally made it. Using the Renault R.S.01. 1 Stop, Mediums/Mediums. 1.57 Laptimes at the beginning of the stint. 2.00 at the end.
Update 1.27 this race is a problem lol. I have tried so many cars 🚗 🚙 🚘 and nothing these AI have some serious speed. It’s like there in BSpec mode when they get hot they run faster. Anyone has done this in version 1.27
i took the mazda gt vision gr3, i didnt liked how the MR cars handled on this track. won by 8 seconds but could have been much more if i had been concistant, 2 pitstop strategy at 20 and 40 mins or so when lap times were getting to 1:59(my best lap was 1:56.5 but every two laps or so i would end up losing a second so at the end of 20 mins it was really slow i dont know why) you have to early brake the first corner at the second before last boards on top right for a good 1st turn and line and turn on the yellow on the second turn, then after the other significant spot to gain time is on the three consecutive turns before getting into two fast corners and the straight and the hairpin after, again early brake and cut as much as you can on the corners without a penalty to have the fastest exit line as possible out this third turn and go wide as possible before going onto the two fast corners before the straight to gain maximum time there(i could gain close to a second there when doing perfectly), then brake a bit before the 50 board in the hairpin to get the slow in faster out as possible to gain some time there again with a perfect exit. the key is so much of keeping the momentum for a whole lap and doing so the whole race, i noticed you need to be steady on the car because everytime you slide the car when getting into corners too fast you lose precious time, also after a couple laps i noticed alot of cars becomes alot more harder to drive as they seem to start sliding alot on mediums

No idea how you did this i tried with car and settings described and within one lap i was 11 secs behind 1st and could not catch up.
Ive been finding that the new laps count (ver 1.27) is 29 to 30 laps not 31 laps
I think things have changed since then. Best I can do is a consistent 2min and the 1st place consistently get 1:56.
Physics have changed but the same lap times are still possible, if not faster now.
Im playing with a wheel, this car has terrible oversteer, dont know how you manage to do 1.56 laps, maybe i should try it with a controller lol.
yes this game is pokemon... i tryd 10 hours straight with a fanatec DD wheel and load cell break... was impossible. grabed a controller and beat my best time on wheel within15 minutes. went straight to unistall this shit kids arcade game!

In GT sports, the 30 lap race was incredible on this track with a wheel.

Just got gold with the Mazda Rx Vision Stealth Model (No orher car works for me). Traction control: 1. Fuel map:1. 2 stops for fuel and medium tyres. Worst lap 1:58:821. I won by 2 sec on Beauvois only cos the overlapped cars slowed down him and Rubiler, the 2 fastest cars in this race. It’s just ridiculous.
Try it with TCS at 0. TCS costs you a lot of time

There is a cheese strat involving the chaparral. Using it means 1 hour of lame racing tho.

Yeah, the Ferrari is a good choice as you get it for free while doing cafe missions and is also a good car in general
I did the Alsace race with a fully tuned Mini (because, Mini) - I think it's doable in a fair few cars, but I think it relies on being able to take 1 less pit stop if you can't match the leader for outright pace (I was a second off the fastest lap time)
Mazda rx 500 with comfort medium on front comfort soft on back and 50 ballast one pit stop dont change tyres. Run on fuel map two on average
So i just tried a bunch of cars and was able to do it with the mazda rx vision on hard tires(its what the car came with and i didnt buy other tires) and 1 pit. ran on fuel level 3 and every lap was between a high 1:57 to mid 1:59.
There is one of the 1 hour missions that’s I. Kyoto park or playground. What car do you run in that? No matter what car I use I can’t catch up to the pack
try the mclaren with Hard Tyres on at least for me it was easy

I have all other gold with controller. I ran first lap 2:08 and you did 2:04. I wheel that much faster? Have tried 4 times with different cars and too slow. Need to buy some others and test.
I'm using controller here as well. The first lap isn't super relevant because of all the passing you have to do, but you still want to be around 2:06 or faster. The RCZ and WRX are two other fast cars you can try
Yes, I understand what you mean, had a mistake in reasoning, but I completed the race with both 30 and 31 laps. So far there has only been one car with which I drive 1:56.3, but only with medium tires, which is why I had to pit twice and the refueling time was also longer with the Corvette because the consumption or the tank was smaller and you Had to fill up 2 times. I don't understand why the Gr.3 cars are so extremely different, sometimes the cars have a difference of more than 1 second per lap. I drive 100% at the limit, a lap time of 1:37:3 is certainly possible, but not 1:36.3 on hard tires. 50% of the race track can be done at full throttle, so i can't lose a lot of time there and on the remaining 50% of the track i certainly don't lose 2 seconds. Do you play with automatic or manual transmission? If I complete 31 laps and need 1:01.01 for it, I was going faster than in this video with 31 laps and 1:01.46, wasn't it?
I only use manual transmission.
I don't believe that you're able to do a 1:01:01 race time with 31 laps - that would mean you're running some 1:55s on hard tires, which is extremely fast and probably not even possible in most cars. The WRX, RCZ, and RX-7 are your best bets for this race between their pace and good fuel mileage, so I would only focus on using those.
Not only is the difficulty glitched, there’s also a high chance that the opponent drivers are way too fast and aggressive to the point they’ll spin you out. This has happened to me after 10 mins and you’ll be 20 seconds behind or more.
Im trying it from week every day and still couldnt gold it the AI are really fast and i tried lots of cars and strategy's but still no luck
@@hamadqassim I’ve given up on this race completely until a patch comes out that makes this race easier. I’ve also used every car and strategy, no luck.
Whenever the AI is whitin a second, move to the middle, they will overshoot the corner or you can push them wide.
When you drive in the middle they will not hit you.
The trick is to learn consistent 1.57/1.58 laptimes.
i did this race on mediums with a two stop, and on hards with a one, and some others. tried multiple cars, set very consistent laps, low to mid 1:58’s all the way thru, best i could manage was 8th. wtf?
Yeah same.. any time I drive the AI does 2 seconds quicker. Seems like a 1.13 thing which I hope they fix.

I think those are both good choices! The current Ford GT, at least. Not so sure about the old ones
@@Harmonic14 do you have a way to combat its snap oversteer off throttle? Also can we adjust the brake bias in these races or is it locked like the daily races?
@@ruzgarakgul2051 I don't think you can change brake bias, but I could be wrong. As for off throttle oversteer, I've adopted the habit of holding the throttle a bit mid corner in mid-engine cars. It's pretty common in ones that are tough to drive, and it keeps a bit more weight towards the back of the car for balance. Try it out if a car is giving you trouble off throttle and you can't tune to fix it
@@Harmonic14 yeah that tactic works because I managed to tame the Audi R8 that way for the deep forest circuit exp. but it is so much against my driving style in gt3 cars it feels very counter intuitive to me 😩
Also why did PD think locking brake bias was a good idea? That’s the only thing that makes MR cars drivable in BoP. Now I gotta drive without ABS to get that same effect
I just did it on the BRZ, easy two stops and ended with 40s lead! And I’m not the fastest driver, avg 1min 57/58 :D Gd luck to all those still trying.

Alright I have a question about A.I. in this game on the lower difficulties (yes I'm a noob/casual so forgive me):
Why does it feel like the A.I. in this game loves to try and spin you out rather than race you clean? I've noticed that the CPU Cars on lower difficulty will make it their mission to bump you from behind or get under you and try to spin you that way. Worse is that if you are in the middle of a spin they don't try to go around you but instead will help to keep you spinning wasting even more time.
I know this might be just a "me" problem (that's fair if its btw) but its something I notice about the way the A.I. drivers work (or don't) on literally "0 pepper difficulty" and I'm trying to understand why because all I wanna do is race clean man...shouldn't be THAT hard right?
Also have you done a video yet on why the backend of cars seemingly want to spin out? It's one of the things I notice a lot that if I am trying to correct a car from hitting the wall the tiniest of nudges to either the analog stick or d-pad (not so much motion) causes a spin. It's something I'm wondering about as a "controller player" and is there a setting that can help compensate for that?

The AI aren't great with being aware of where you're going - they pretty much ignore you, so you have to drive with that in mind.
For spinning out, I guess it depends on when it's happening. I've heard a lot of complaints about excessive wheelspin from applying throttle, and being disciplined with throttle control is the best way to get around that. Even though it might not seem much different, being at 80-90% throttle instead of 100% can make a big difference in traction when exiting a corner, so try to be a bit more gradual on throttle input.
If you're trying to make corrections and end up spinning out, then you can try lowering the steering sensitivity, but I haven't found that to help very much, as the same problems still happen while also limiting how much you can turn when you're actually in full control of the car.
Just an FYI, It seems the difficulty only affects the 1st mission race, I tried so many times and couldn't win, the leader was doing 58sec per lap, I found online some guys saying to set your difficulty to normal, NOT easy, so I did this and won the race by miles on my first go, I also noticed the fastest AI times were nowhere near 58sec but rather 102sec or 104sec, so maybe the difficulty settings only relates to the first race, I kept the setting on normal and pretty much beat all the rest of the missions quite easily.
Quite a drop from 58 to 102sec.

Are you playing on automatic transmission? If so, this is most likely the problem. I was struggling for hours-- days... buying and trying different cars. Attempt after attempt even though I'm doing the same pit strategy as others. Then I saw someone say they don't think it's possible on automatic. I have gold in every single other race, mission and license in automatic but on this damn race, the best I could achieve was 5th place.
So... I gave manual a try and won right away! Even though I had slower lap times here and there when on automatic due to more inconsistencies. Weird but hey...
Tried so many times have sore hands. Mustang for me by about 6 seconds. Average driver.

Don't think so. Just change it in global settings of the game to hard, for this race and change it back after if u want.

BMW Z4 Medium Tires pit after lap 10 and Lap 20. If you consistently get in the 1:58-2:00 lap range every single lap you should win
Also don’t fill up tank on the 2nd pit stop, only fill the tank up for 10 laps. Save’s you much needed time

that #1 hated race from me. DId after countless of hours maybe even 40-50+ so many cars and tactics - only that did work i ran out of fuel by mistake end of lap 17 and then i continued to lap 31 with amg '20 but still barely won by a fracture of like 0.400 lead or something - those guys behind are absolutely pushing limits and u cant ever catch a decent gap even doing 1.57s for most taking into consideration at the point i had under 10% thread on tires and still pushing high 1.57 was no chance of pulling away even with a second. The update has made it way worse than they were on the clip recorded. They can be beaten but surely not within a minute anymore. I got lead in 2,5 laps with 1st place but after 1st pit back again to 12th and that was far best all other attempts set me back to 16th or 15th.
How? You can't even use the R.S.01 as it isn't a Gr.3 car

Try the WRX instead - it seems really good on BoP after the update. Also the refuel rate is pretty slow, so only take the minimum fuel you need

la renault rs01 pas assez rapide et avec 1 pit stop les pneus a la fin ma faire perdre 4 a 5 seconde au tour donc impossible
la peugeot rcz derape trop de l arriere je tourne en 1.59 , 2 mn au tours
j ai reussi avec la mazda rx vision je tourne entre 1.57 et 1.59 pneu course moyen et 2 pit stop le premier a 11 tours 99% de carburant et le 2eme a 21 tours bien prendre 10 tour de carburant j ai finis avec 6 seconde d avance
pour infos ca m a pris plus de 10 essai soit 10h de temps pour trouver la strategie et le vehicule qui me convenais
The Renault is plenty fast enough. The hard tires last a very long time and can easily make it on 1 stop. If you use mediums, you'll need 2 stops.
Bro I’ve tested it. It’s true. The easiest way to test this bug is to put it on easy mode and race the first race of the endurance races. All races are affected though
I haven't tried the first one yet. Maybe it's specific to that race? Don't think I have the time to test, and I still haven't seen a video of it yet, so I'm not sure
I tested it, too. It's really impossible to Gold Tsukuba on "easy", don't know if other Endurance Mission's are like Tsukuba on easy.

Second try i change difficulty on hard and.... Win with 30 seconds advantage before second car! WOW! I think this difficulty glitch work for all 8 races!
This isn’t right. With the same car, my tires are all red by lap 13.
Ok buddy i made a test
Easy AI-1:57.037 in fourth lap
Normal AI-1:57.438 in third lap
Hard AI-1:57.300 in third lap
So there is no any difrence beetwen dificulty stage. If i have drive four lap on Normal and hard AI will probably get the same lape time as on easy.
When you are diving any other thing that is not mission, the dificulty is oviose beetwen easy, Normal and hard. So its definetly broken in missions
3 tenths a lap is pretty significant over the course of a race
This is exactly what I found, and I explain it in the difficulty section of the video. The game says difficulty is for World Circuits races, and Missions are separate from World Circuits.
You don't have access to every lap time the AI runs, so there's no way to know if they're running 3 tenths faster for every lap of the race. 3-4 tenths for the fastest lap on lap 3-4 is well within reasonable variation.

Buddy, Harmonic is a very strong Controller driver... i couldn't do that, maybe with more Practice. I catched the first one at Round 5 or 6. Like he said: A 1:58-1:59 time should work for Gold. Not everyone is a "pro".

Harmonic is a really good GT player. Average me sets a best time of 2:00 in this race and I couldn't get the times consistently. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@D4rK86 a game what calls himself real driving simulatore there should be no place for controller or not even possible to drive as fast then with wheel. in this game its way easyer to driver with a controller.
@@siven5 lul, the GT Series have to be Controller friendly (like in the first GT). Not everyone can get a Wheel or have room for it... but i know what you mean with "The Real Driving Simulation" so GT should be like: PCars 1-2, AC & ACC and iRacing.
Anyway, i still love GT!
my lap times are 2:00 on average on a G29, haven't beaten the mission yet. This mission is brutal. GG yourself.
I absolutely hate this f****** race like honestly. Followed your guide setting good times yet i end up with worse worn tyres, less fuel and the leader is still in front setting 1.55 lap times the second I set to fuel map two i just start falling behind even with 1.57/1.58 lap times like how tf am I meant to complete this its really starting to infuriate me
Thanks to PD releasing an unfinished game, the strategy here is somewhat outdated. You can definitely watch hisi es, though, and see where he cuts corners legally to gain time or run a better racing line.
The issue I have with this stupid race, I've tred with 6 different cars doing a 1 pit strategy. The AI are much faster and more powerful. I cant use steering wheel or manual gears so I'm stuck on this one. Sometimes the AI don't pit at all..and I can't get anymore less than 2 minutes. Have gran turismo seriously made this race jusy for people.who can drive Manual? Because I am at a loss. I've really had enough of this race. And I am finding it impossible just to get bronze on this track.
I beated this with the Peugeot RCZ on hard tyres with 1 Pit Stop . Was not that hard. And i only did 1:58 ~1:59 Lap Times. You should only watch out for the Bmw M6 and Mercedes AMG gt3 because these two are clearly your hardest rivals but they do 2 pit stops
