  • 🌟 Welcome to the St. Regis Kanai Resort, Riviera Maya, the ultimate luxury escape in Mexico! In this video, I provide a comprehensive tour and review of this newly opened luxury resort just outside the Cancun area, showcasing its stunning architecture, luxurious rooms, and breathtaking views. Everything was absolutely perfect except for the service which needs improvement to live up to the name and quality of other St. Regis hotels. I also stayed at the newly opened Rivera Maya EDITION At Kanai Resort right next door. That review is now up as well.

    Its crazy that after paying 1600 $ a night you don't get full breakfast for top tier members

      Same practice is done at other StRs in Mexico and the WA in Cabo 😀

    Thank you for sharing this incredible video! I'm curious about the release date for the Edition Riviera Maya video? We're deciding between St. Regis and Edition for a February vacation and any insights, especially considering we're traveling with a 6-month-old baby, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

      Wonderful, this Saturday morning EDITION video will be up:) They honestly are both so amazing and you can’t go wrong with either so it’s hard to decide but hopefully my EDITION review will help!

    Spectacular property and review! If you’re looking for other resort properties in/near Central America, I highly recommend W Costa Rica!

      Thank you for the feedback! And If I go to Costa Rica I probably will stay there and definitely the ANDAZ with Hyatt.

      @@gogotravelwithjoshhope you have a better experience at the Andaz than I did. No upgrade whatsoever as a Globalist 👎🏻

    How would you rank the st Regis, the edition, Andaz and Waldorf in Cancun? We love the st Regis in Kauai, Puerto Rico, and park city. The one in Puerto Rico was cool since it had the golf course and lagoon where you could kayak and ride bikes.

      @gogotravelwithjosh  Před 2 měsíci

      The St. Regis and EDITION are pretty equal in my book. If the St. Regis could improve their service to at least be what you expect at a luxury property it would be my favorite. I would never go back to the Andez. The Waldorf I have not stayed at but looks nice and seems to have good reviews.

    Any suggestions on round trip transportation (car service) to and from Cancun airport?

    • @gogotravelwithjosh
      @gogotravelwithjosh  Před 5 měsíci

      We got a rental car from Hertz. All the resorts we stayed at did not charge for parking. However, I would recommend setting up ground transportation with the hotels or ordering a Uber as while you are at the hotels there’s really no use for a car unless you plan to go out to many places.

    I feel tv could be upgraded to bigger size and it will be nice if it is oled 4k

    This looks like a great resort. I feel like the EDITION looks even more divine. The only downfall with the EDITION is that it only has one bathroom sink lol. Small price to pay I guess

    • @gogotravelwithjosh
      @gogotravelwithjosh  Před 2 měsíci

      Yes they both are beautiful, I just wish St. Regis could get the service improved and take better care of elite members.

    what is the name of this suite category? thanks! great videos!

    • @gogotravelwithjosh
      @gogotravelwithjosh  Před 6 měsíci

      This is Atlas Suite. It’s same as St. Regis Suite just has outdoor tub! You can use suite night awards if you have any to request St. Regis Suite which is basically the same.

    The st Regis just has no character. I think it’s pretty, but etereo is on another level compared to the edition and st regis.
    I wish you got to compare it, but etereo really blows these two Marriott properties away in every way possible.
    The beach is a major bummer
