Good morning Gayle 🌞👋🤗that was so pretty and fun! That grungy one is great 👍🏼 lace, buttons, fabric and dangles just make my day. Big day for my family, my grandson is graduating from high school today. He changed his name to Albertini so he will be announced in front of everyone and l just know his grandpa will be looking over him. Ron knew he was doing this too💜❤💜it’s a big day for our Mason, going into graphic design and accepted at our local university”PSU”, big shout out to all those young kids who have obstacles and struggles to overcome and achieve greatness. I’m so proud of him!🥰

I like hanging the charm from the crimper ring so that it doesn't take up space in the journal and it provides pretty decoration at the top when the book is shut :)

Although I can’t recall you making these types of dangles before, I’m sure glad you did for today’s video! How fun is this? I mean, honestly, I am collecting bits and bobs all over my craft/sewing studio to use to make them and, honestly, some of them actually do have stories behind them (a piece from her dress and one from his shirt including a button on the night they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary…some lace from her 1963 prom dress and a piece of Chantilly lace from her wedding dress including the hand-sewn baby pearls…) You get the picture! Oh, Gayle, you’ve made my day with this one! I can’t wait to see your’s in up-coming journals! Hugs!

I’m excited about this, I actually have a stash of ribbon crimps and lots of fabric scraps, yay! I had made a Tina-inspired #clusterbook, then made a similar #alteredpaperclipbook, which makes them soooo handy to use. Now I think I’ll make a little dangle book with eyelets to attach these to. It’s so easy to use our things if they’re easier to see! Thanks for the inspiration, I love it when I have what I need to try your awesome projects ❤

When tying the bows, make your first loop bigger. You can always pull it smaller after as need be, rather than trying to wind the thread around a tiny loop! Just a thought!
That was fun to watch, Gayle. You have so much fun stuff to play with!! Love all the bits of fabrics and laces. I don’t have any ribbon crimps and I am trying not to buy anything for a week or so. Currently reorganizing my craft room and it is shocking to see all of the stuff that I have and never use!!!😊

Hey turned out very cute. I liked the black one the best.
Loved these! I have trouble with the smaller bows due to stiffer fingers. It helps to use a longer string. Once the bow is tied it is easy to make the loops small and trim off any string that is too long.

Love playing with ribbon crimps. I have found I like to slow stitch on little pc of fabric or lace and that is usually my focal point. It really adds a lot. I think I remember you found some pre done slow stitch like snippets of fabric with sewing on already from Timmy! Go put one of those on one. It really finishes them.
I’ve also just pinned on a bitty scrap of lace with a safety pin or bulb pin after it’s crimped.
