A regular visitor to that spot. Tea and cake in the Smugglers and a lovely walk through The Devils Chimney and ancient Woodlands below. I cant imagine the sorrow and pain felt by those that lived there. Thank you for sharing your footage and the overlay. It really gives proportionality to the scene.
The Devils Chimney is still there but the steps inside are buckled and the walkway beyond has dropped as seen on another CZcams video very recently, not advisable to have this open in the future as more landslides are predicted! We have sadly lost a beautiful Landmark
With 20 to 30 years of governments pushing for young people to do computer courses, office job work etc etc the UK has lost its way in engineering, Victorian times we made things happen, we pushed the limits in engineering, now we have no vision, no drive,

Great shots. It was larger than I had seen in earlier photos. I had a hike through there in September.

Are you sure it’s still there? On all the footage I’ve seen it looks like the Eastern side had completely collapsed!
