  • Hi everyone and welcome to Frosted Crumbs!
Today I made this number/ alphabet cake trend! The original recipe involves making a tart from a dough called "pâté sucrée" but I just made it out of a no chill cut out sugar cookie dough and it came out awesome! The recipe is below as well as the link to the cookie dough recipe. I hope you enjoyed this video and thanks for watching!
    Inspiration: @adikosh123
    Cookie Dough Recipe: www.twosistersc...
    Cookie Dough Recipe:
2 cups Sweet Cream Salted Butter (slightly softened about 45 minutes out)
    2 cups Sugar
    2 Eggs
    2 tbsp. Vanilla
    1 tsp. Almond Extract
    4 tsp. Baking Powder
    6 cups Flour
    DIRECTIONS:
    1. Add butter and sugar to your mixer.
    2. Cream the butter and sugar until it is completely mixed.
    3. Add vanilla and eggs and mix until completely incorporated.
    4. Add Baking Powder and mix.
    5. Mix in the flour two cups at a time.
    6. Do not chill the dough, the cookies will bake better if the dough is at room temperature.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes until edges turn golden brown.
    Mascarpone Whipped Cream:
    16 oz of Mascarpone Cheese
2 cups of Heavy Whipping Cream
    1/2 cup of powdered sugar
    2 tsp of Vanilla Extract
I'm not a professional baker but I love baking as a hobby.

Tried out this recipe and definitely wasn't disappointed! It turned out super cute and tasted just awesome. The cookies softened once I added the cream and therefore had the perfect consistency when served, about 7 hours later. The only changes I made were using a little less whipping cream because I wanted to make a smaller cake and I put a little bit more sugar in the cream mixture because I wanted to make sure it will be a little sweeter. 10/10 will do it again 💛

Hi :) I’m going to make this soon for my daughter. Just wondering do you think a white chocolate ganache and cream cheese frosting will hold the top part of the cake? Also how long can this be made in advanced and stored in the fridge?
    Thank you x

The cream is a stabilized whipped cream so it won’t melt after the decorations are done. Just keep it refrigerated and you should be good. Hope this helps! :)
