- Ok maybe this was a 1 star Halloween costume for a reason! I also review an 'ultimate' box of US Halloween candy. What is a tootsie roll? I am still not sure.

As a resident American, I do have to say that we do not get candy that large. It’s mostly mini sized candy bars/packets, unless u go to a rich persons house and they give the jumbo bars.

my grandfather was the house everyone stopped at twice because he let people choose from a huge variety of full-sized candy bars. halloweens were always spent there and us grandkids got to eat (and take home) as much of that candy from the candy bowl as we wanted 😅 it was the best.
As a fellow american, agreed. I've never gotten a jumbo bar unless I had to walk into a haunted house to get it lol.

My friend lived in one of those rich gated communities and I always went trick-or-treating with her because multiple houses gave out full-size candy bars.

My Nana was a MASTER at rolling and twisting Tootsie Rolls to look _exactly_ like a dog poo, I'll never forget one time when I was about five and she made me one and my mom saw it squishing in my warm little hand and freaked out on me. Meanwhile, Nana was howling with evil laughter in her rocking chair, and Mom made me cry before apologizing profusely once she realized what it really was. I miss my Nana every day, but things like this I'll have with me forever. Sneaky lady!😂😂😂💕💩

My grandma actually did hand me poop when I was 8 :) she thought it was a cool piece of a tree branch and handed it to me to throw in the river, and my dad walked up and went "...that's raccoon sh*t". I love how Phil always says the most unexpected things in each video.
It took me years to realize Tootsie rolls were supposed to resemble chocolate. They're a staple at 4th of July because chocolate melts, Halloween you see them sometimes but they really don't hold up when actual chocolate is an option. They make fruit-flavored ones with the same texture though and those are pretty good.

Most houses don't give out full size candy sadly, though my dad was notorious in our neighborhood for handing out full size bars and letting kids pick what they wanted
we always made brownies and stuff with the leftovers

I remember once when I went trick or treating I got some pretty cool stuff, one house was giving out popcorn. Another was giving out caprisun's (juice pouches) and then another house was giving out little toys and stuff and that was great. And I also love seeing all the decorated houses because some go all out Halloween.

They are so cheap! They are always leftover on the streets/sidewalks after parades.
The only tootsie rolls I moderately enjoy are the vanilla ones that come in the variety packs of flavored ones. With the orange and lemon and lime and cherry. Even the fruit flavored ones are bad, the vanilla is the only decent one to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I live in the UK and me and my family make a big deal out of Halloween every year. We decorate the whole front of our house and have a little tableau of ghosts, this year we had an actual smoking cauldron over a fire on our drive 😁
My absolute favourite thing is hearing the kids coming round the corner saying things like "this is always the best house!" or "I told you this house was amazing!"
10/10 would recommend making a big deal out of Halloween in the UK. 🎃😁
