Kimbrel is performing like the Hall of Famer he is. Even without elite fastball velo, he just knows how to get it done.
Yeah I'll take him over anyone right now. When he's not on he battles well, when he is he's untouchable. I feel he's been squeezed more than helped by umps, and a lot of his runs against are on some pretty flukey things. I think his era will actually go down from now even though he's been brilliant.

Livvy Dunn rizzed up Baby Gronk…yeah. But a full 162 season where Skenes is an every 5th day guy will be the ultimate test. I don’t see him be as dominant in that scenario. He hasn’t had a crisis of confidence and control yet. Livvy Dunn is still rizzing him up (smh). We’ll see with Skenes.
If you watched the braves game, he struggled with command and didn’t have his best stuff that game. But he somehow got through 6 and only gave up 1 run. I’d say that was a pretty good test vs a good team
@@J_williams22 college seasons are very short compared to mlb seasons. I doubt the pirates are going to shut him down early either. By this time next year, if he’s still throwing 103 mph fastballs and exploding splinkers, I’ll jump all over his nuts too. Not yet though.
