If it came down to a need to have such weapons, I could make them myself or improvise something. But they wouldnt be pretty.

Well I’m in Florida… so melee weapon is pretty far down the failure list, but should it come down to that. Large skillet feels really good. Wide enough to deflect a bat or knife, but weighted enough to make someone see lights. I’m not kidding. I have a spare pan in my bed room closet
Shield and a telescopic baton. Bro, frying pans are good and will do damage but a real deal telescopic baton will immobilize most humans in a few light smacks.

Get a halibut deep sea Ugly Stick. Some are shorter than pool cues, easier to swing in a door or hall way, then cut the eyes for the line off... viola a beatin stick.

I would opt for some heavy or spiked brass knuckles, pretty much makes every strike to the head a killer one and any body strike will brake something. It only gets better with any fighting training

Baseball bat has to be to go to in terms of balancing realistically having it available while still dealing a lot of damage. You can put a ferocious swing on a small bat without needing much room
Modern times say the bat-ton is what’s going on. One arm and any slim light pole is dope. Also knowing wrist control makes a bat/bat-ton in any space the best or worst thing you can have. The gun is and will be the best realistic option in any situation,(even if it means sacrificing your ears)
Hammer has way more leverage and a smaller, denser point of impact. One good swing with a heavy ballpeen and you're fracturing the skull for sure.

I have a Gerber machete, with a saw side and a blade side that's nearly razor sharp. I would feel bad for the 'average' person trying to attack with anything other than a firearm or spear.
@@JLewis1979 I own the exact same thing. However, I've seen a number of videos and reviews showing how it becomes damaged after 3-4 hits. After that I went to a flee market and found myself a heavy duty brush machete for 10 bucks. Hell of a lot better, longer and sharper too.

I wouldn't want to face a decent lacrosse player with a pool stick. Lax stick handling translates really well to self defense with a pole of any kind, especially when one end is weighted.

you want something that even if they block it still does damage. but if you cant fight without a weapon you shouldnt think that you will suddenly be able to fight with a weapon. go train and learn how to fight then add weapons once you can already strike and grapple
A good beefy lacrosse stick. Not a d pole because they might be able to grab that but I mean, if u crosscheck someone in the face 1 or 2 times they ussually go down and it is a titanium stick. Stick checks to the arms can hurt like hell if u get a good swing. I couldn't imagine getting beat repeatedly by one on say my forearms. Like u get hit and u can't move that limb at all for minutes. Like if u slap check a guy in the face I don't think he will want to fight after that
..unless he's on meth, crack, pcp, etc. all he'd feel is his knife slipping into your ribcage
An electric guitar is wayyyyy too heavy and the weight distribution is bad for swinging
I would just use my Mosin bayonet. Now if i had prep. time its getting attached to a wooden mop now i have an effective range weapon.

Think about it thi you swing once with the golf club and you get blunt damagw, it bends and you swing again thenit breaks and becomes a stake/spear. Then you got a stabbing weapon. Trust me im british. Stabbing weapons my forté

How has nobody said baseball bat?? An aluminum one is super light, small even for hallways, and it’s weighted so can be used in a variety of ways. It’s also a damn bat so it’s simple to have anywhere in your house

It’s metal so it won’t break and can defend against most if not all melee weapons. If you can’t figure it out with a baseball bat then Darwinism is doing it’s thing

Baseball bat is unparalleled. It minimizes accidental murder the most, out of all melee weapons. You can keep people 3 feet away, removing the possibility of being stabbed. A baseball bat will deflect every melee attack.
