Eitherway, this car is fine and I don’t care too much about cars anyway anymore, I’m not some little child. I find my current car fast enough with 415HP, it gets the job done.

Perhaps the drivers in all the other RS5 Capristo videos are red-lining it all the time and just makes the exhaust note too shrill for my liking. But here, the lower rev range parts of the video makes all the difference and the exhaust system really shines in it's crispness and clarity. Awesome!
I don't think a manual would have such aggressive downshift sounds. Besides, the DCT is one of the best features of this car according to every review I've seen.

Problem is, German manufacturers are offering a manual trans option less and less; it's being phased out gradually. I drove manual cars for nearly 20 years. The B8 RS5 performs exceptionally well with the DCT and I wouldn't want anything else for thIs car despite having driven so many miles with a manual. I do miss it to _some_ extent, admittedly.

Driving it around the streets of London is a bit pointless. You'll never be able to get up enough speed to hear her really scream, so you're just restricted to low-level loudness and the punishing downshift noise. which isn't bad but the video needed variation.

In Spain, you would NEVER be able to run that car, cause police and the ITV (technical vehicles inspection) would not allow you to circulate that way. What a condemnation we have in spain with this things. If you have this kind of vehicles tunned, you are almost a criminal in spain.
