      @@CRD90 I booked through viator and the operator contacted me straight away informing me the requirements and answered any questions promptly. Very efficient, even the directions to their base. Have you been to any other locations? I'm not sure which street kart to choose. Some go through Shibuya crossing

    • @CRD90
      @CRD90  Před 2 měsíci

      Nope this was the only location I did, mainly because I wanted to see Tokyo tower at night.
      I did see karts go through shibuya crossing, but I would suggest the Tokyo route is better as it involves higher speed roads

    how were you able to document the adventure? i assume phones aren’t allowed. i see on their site you can rent an action camera. if i do will it look like your video or worse in quality??

    • @CRD90
      @CRD90  Před 3 měsíci +2

      I used my own gopro camera strapped to my head. Phones are only allowed when stationery.
      I'd assume the quality of there cameras should be similar to this gopro. But you can message them and ask the resolution.
      This was shot in 1080p.

      I think it was called the Tokyo bay area 🤔 but yes definitely more quiet as there were docks nearby so not so much traffic.

    • @CRD90

      Yep you need to get an international driving permit from the post office. Costs about £5 and can be issued on the same day.

      Good question, I could only assume because you're securely fastened in the kart unlike a motorbike where you could fly off.
      It's honestly not that scary, japan has some of the safest roads in the world and this experience was super easy.
