Hello, that is a great question... but unfortunately I do not know the answer. Every video I have seen does not use the slide when they are using the rotary...so I am guessing maybe not? That might be a question you could email xTool directly about. I will update this if I figure it out as well. Thanks!

Hello! Right now I think the best bang for your buck would be the xTool S1. It has everything you need to get started right away. This is a great machine if you are thinking about a side business. If you are buying a machine where you hope to run a full time business, The xTool P2 would be your choice. This is a C02 laser with a camera system that works great, but it is double the cost of the S1. Here are the links to both!
